Smuggler's Copter is back, and what better way to use it than some Kaladesh-style dwarven mayhem!

"Dwarves" and "take over the meta" is something I always wanted but never thought I'd see, thank you
I think Reid might not have realized he can tap artifacts with the warden too
love to see pioneer content! I hope Reid keeps trying new stuff in this format!
Pioneer does seem like the best Format. So many interactions, such good end enjoyable games!!
Smugglers copter with embercleave is the equivalent of an Apache attack helicopter
Sweet deck! Todd Anderson had someone play something very similar against him but Dragonlord Atarka made an appearance in lieu of Embercleave; good fun!
I'm pretty sure you missed that Warden of the Inner Sky also can tap artifacts, not only creatures at 1:01:00
I was thinking the same. I feel like there were at least 2 or 3 times there was little reason to not tap treasures or blood tokens to pump and scry. Only explanation I think is that Reid missed/forgot that line on a very wordy 1 mana card.
@@forrestwelling8448 I think some of the times there was argument for other plays and using them/keeping them up especially when 1 was a treasure or free mana with clue/blood. But here literally no other plays possible
vs phx, ~1:24:49, you could have sacrificed all the treasures + blood token + embercleave to block a phx
This looks super fun. Hopefully Wizards will deign to actually add Copter to Arena now that it's unbanned >.>
EDIT: Also, is there any particular reason that Reid continually failed to use the treasures to activate the Warden's ability? There were a bunch of times where it was free (or nearly free, like tapping down one of 4 or 5 untapped creatures) to buff it, and it's not like was using the treasures for anything else there.
It seems to me like this is a really cool deck, and it probably doesn't actually need to have such a heavy focus on the dwarf subtheme. I'd think shaving a mutavault or two and running another bomat courier or two would be excellent, from what this showed. In that case, you'd probably be using the treasures more for tapping to the warden or for casting extra cards early, but that's still really solid.
Ya I don't think he remembered it can tap artifacts AND creatures, it's not convoke.
I feel like a one of portal to phyrexia would be nice
i think mutavault is bugged with convoke
1:50:30 also you've already seen dromokas command which could be pretty bad.
Also the wardens would be better if you remembered to use them more often lol. At least 2-3 times there were 3+ untapped creatures/artifacts and really nothing else to with them like at 1:01:00.
And a few where it was probably more useful. Like at 2:03:00 could've played it and tapped itself epicure and blood token. Would've gotten 1 less damage in that turn but ended up with the same hand still had the blood token and got a counter on warden
Ancestral Recall is busted.
Reid instantly screwing up the convoke on mutavault is pretty cringey.
hey
Well, I fell for the click-bait of dwarves. A dwarves deck this is not. I got all excited for nothing.
