For decades Guitar Village has been assisting guitar players throughout the UK and over the world (from the novice to celebrity players) find their dream guitar.
A fantastic range of low interest finance options now help the guitarist find the correct guitar for them without the price tag being an issue by spreading the instalments into easily manageable interest free payments. There’s nothing we love more than allowing a player of the past to re-live their passion by starting up again, but this time with the guitar they always wanted but could never afford.
Guitar Village is based in Surrey, UK and serves customers within its beautiful old building on West Street Farnham and via our online guitar shop.
Farnham is on the borders of Surrey and Hampshire, and only 45 minutes from London. The trip is worth it, but if you prefer to shop online, everything is online too!

I just love that Martin can’t resist playing or singing throughout the whole interview. You can see his fingers itching to pick a string constantly. Lovely man, brilliant musician and excellent interview.
Sitting playing some country songs then I came across this while having a brew think I will take up cricket Mr Simpson genius is to lighter word
One time I visited London I had two concerts that interested me, so I had to choose. It was U2 or Martin. Loved hearing Martin that fine evening.
What a gentleman
His song “Never Any Good” is a masterpiece.
Met him at Beverley folk festival a few years back , humble and talent
Having, at 54, started to learn guitar and after 2 years still struggling, this is awesome (in the true sense of the word).
My mind is blown!
Martin is always entertaining and an incredible artist. This was a fabulous interview. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!! Thanks for watching :)
When Martin says the barre F is a pain.........you do tend to feel a bit better !!!!!!
This is priceless. Martin is at the top of the acoustic tree. Plays with so much style and taste. This is like having him in your living room. Glad to see him playing the Taran also. I've had more guitars than I can count (including one of Martin's Sobells) but I ended up with a Tirga Mhor like this.
Martin's amazing in the way he sings over the top of complex fingerstyle, playing quite independently. I bought a second-hand Taran similar to Martin's, without the cutaway. Its fabulous. I've never come upon a guitar that plays and sounds like nothing I've come across previously.
So proud that he is British...what a treasure!
Careful.....you might get the diversity thought Police after you!
Really enjoyed this interview
Wonderful conversation and the music..... Wow
Beautiful guitars
Damn. Huge artist. Thanks for share
Martin turned me on to this (his?) CGCFCD tuning. So much more melodic and pleasant than standard or, even, DADGAD. My favorite and most versatile tuning for me now. THANKS Martin!
Excellent, thank you..
Listen to 'Beautiful Darkness Celebrating the Winter Solstice' Martin Simpson, Jessica Radcliffe and Lisa Ekstrom.......a mesmerisingly beautiful album!!
if there is a Hall of Fame for Americana music, he's long over due (even though, i know, he's british).
Top man
Martin, " tuner " Simpson leaves the rest for dust.
Reminder
Put new strings on the guitar just like Martin did to his 😊
