I appreciate the deep bass or baritone of a quality pipe. A muted raspiness is music to my ears. That cross plane is so unique all on its own. So good. An old-school D&D Pipe on a 4banger is perfection.

I love how thorough you were recording sounds in all these different scenarios. And I actually dig the aftermarket exhausts. Wouldn't put them on my SV1000S because I'm not a fan of L2 and because it's loud enough as it is.

Love the sound of many bikes-so addictive! My 2008 STR 675 with Arrow 3 into 1 sounds grunty then wails. My SV1000 with Micron slip ons sounds fat. My RF900R with Aussie made slip on sounds like lumpy Busa that revs quicker. And finally my VF750F (interceptor) that sounds like a 350 twin untill it hits 2500 rpm and sounds like a beast!
Ive always loved hearing a Kawasaki H1 or H2 triple two stroke hitting it's power band. WOW!

The VFR and Scrambler win this one for me. Any engine in a V configuration seems to be amazing. Harleys, Moto Guzzi... really can't go wrong. Even my wifes little SRV250 sounds great.

My favorites have to be the VFR, both triples and the awesome CP2.
I think u should keep a record of your "standardized" exhaust sound test and apply it to all the bikes and exhaust you can. Maybe every year or 2 u can compile the new clips into an informative type vid.

I like the crackling sound of the VFR when u revving it up I do want one but they are soo not cheap in the UK but think the best sound was the 765 triple but I will say I've got a tuned Kawasaki er6f with a delkevic exhaust and it sounds soo different to to that ninja 400 but 2cylinder bike are slot more rare I think in the UK 😂

I like the character of v2 Ducati. It is not super rough as a single but not so smooth as a V4 or in line. It feels powerful just idling.

Great video guys. It may be different in real time but on the video the Busa wins, .. no contest. The Triumph Street Triple was second from my perspective and sounds awesome too.
I had to smile when you mentioned the loapy idle on the Hayabusa because I know that sound. I was sitting at the stop on my big old '88 Katana 1100 last summer, and thought to myself how it idled a bit like a older muscle car (1100cc @ 136 hp and a redline of 11,250). That bike I have really is kind of like the pre-Busa. At least I like to think so. ;)

LeoVince exhaust always sounds absolutely fantastic. Also Spite's VFR and Yammie's Daytona sounds the best imo. Btw, I didn't think that Ninja 400 sounded bad at all lol.

Probably more the engine type sound vs the muffler type. The 675 and V4 Honda tough to pick. Glad they do not make mufflers like on the BUSA. Under belly exhausts look best with mass centralizing. I do not like big mufflers on the side of any bike. I buy mufflers for the aesthetics first and sound is secondary. I have owned SC project but too loud. I like my yoshimura aloha T on my Super Duke. Not too loud. Love carbon accents
