I love ARRIBA the most. It's such a tease, it's practically ATEEZ 😅 Every member had parts that make them shine. I love that! Can't even pinpoint a favourite part of the track. It's not as hard-hitting as Crazy Form but it sure gets my heart racing
Can't choose 😭 The only downside of being an atiny is the inability to choose the best song. They all rocked!

for this album dreamy day is my favorite. one day i want you two to review turbulance too. i so agree with the comment "ateez's music are music for musicians." i listen to them, because being a student of vocal myself, i have fun listening to different ways of singing from them.

I think ATEEZ' musicality is part of why they didn't take off in mainstream Korea. South Korea seems to really love easy listening music, and ATEEZ isn't that. Their music is complex, which is why I, as a professional musician, love it so much. And their lyrics always hit with hard truths.
I'm so satisfied with this song as a latina atiny, they really portrayed the sound in a very interesting and catchy way (it's Ateez, obviously they're always creating art) without falling into the formula and lack of musicality we're used to hearing in music here, so this song really made me proud ❤

I don't know any kpop song that has 6/8 time signature other than Arriba 🤣 and as a musician, it took me few days to actually figure this song out and it's mind-blowingg
yesss time sgnatures other than 4/4 are so refreshing and im so glad that they made a song like this, they really pulled it off 6/8
I was trying so hard to figure out the time signature because I cant read sheet but I knew it wasn’t a 4/4 beat. It’s been killing me.
I love the instrumentals for this one. It starts off so eerie but turns so fun and energetic. I think its so cool how they do things to compliment their voices through the track, like the deep strings sound in the background when Mingi starts rapping, and how it turns into that tinny tune when Hongjoong jumps on. Love it
Yes!!! This song is really, really interesting, instrumental-wise. There were many parts in this song that I personally felt like were 6/8, and there were also parts that felt like very 3/4 too..which is very unusual in K-pop.. I guess. It just creates the perfect Latin influence for this song. Ahhh!! This song is just so good that each time I hear it... everything feels different. Not to mention, ARRIBA transitioned from Crazy form, which also had a Latin touch like Han-C said.

This song is giving a majestic cirkus with the lead actor as the cirkus master with his crew giving the most outstanding performances at night but has some dark secrets with a mysterious back story, turns out the crew is a bunch of freaks and the cirkus master was the one collecting them thru witchcraft and manipulating the audience into getting mesmerized by their show, so that they come back for more and lose their souls little by little bcuz that is the fuel for the cirkus master's ghost pirate ship. Once enough is collected, him and his crew goes out for adventures in the deadly sea.

This song is so much fun to dance to! Love the 6/8 time signature. It took me a few listens to comprehend the full awesomeness of the song and now it’s one of my favorites from the album!

If you haven't (and I'm fairly sure you haven't, even on patreon) you HAVE to watch a live performance of this. The choreo, stage props, costumes, everything adds SO MUCH. I liked the song when I first heard it, but am completely sold after the performance.
It would be so awesome for you guys to be able to interview ATEEZ and discuss their music in detail together, would be so satisfying! As your interpretations and explanations are so good for me to understand things better and you would know the musically detailed questions to ask them that never really come out of the usual interviews for artists. I love that this song is in 6/8 time! Actually other than Star 1117, another Ateez song, I can't really think of many other kpop songs that use triple meter.
Also I think "arriba" literally translates to "get up" which is interesting since that's what Hongjoong says in the opening of Crazy Form

I know nothing in terms of music but as I watch your reactions , I know now why i love ateez songs so much .. musicians to musicians are the biggest compliment .. This kinda sits in the same table as Take Me Home and Cyberpunk for me. :)
The reason this song has more distinctive vocal and rap lines is partly bc ATEEZ wanted it to be the title track for this comeback but crazy form had been decided on awhile ago 😭 you can tell how much they enjoyed recording this song. I don’t think we’ll get an mv for it but I’m excited to see it live! I know they’re gonna go crazy on stage w this one.

This song became my favourite one in the album (of the full group ones), at first I wasn't so sure but it immediately became super addictive.
As a latina I appreciate the very minimal disrespect towards the Spanish language as well, we've come a long way since our boys decided to pronounce gracias with a double r for no reason lmao
Also you were correct in the beginning, arriba means up and it can also be used as an encouragement. I feel like this song kinda has that encouraging vibe too, like it makes you feel energized and ready to have fun when you listen to it, so the title fits it perfectly.
