Nitro coffee is for when you just can’t get going but I love the taste. Tall is a good size for these.

i love the nitro cold brew with sweet cream. and i do chug it lol... but every time i drink one of these i can’t sleep at night. the caffeine is really intense.

For anyone who is curious, barista here... ♡ The reason for those sip lids, is to enable you to sip and enjoy the foam (on cold foam cold brews), and crema (creamy bubbles on top) on the nitro cold brews, that you'd miss out on with the straw. ♡ I like it, and have tried it...but I can't even do a grande..haha (: It is that strong!
**edit to say, some stores do serve other drinks with those lids as well, but they were originally introduced with the cold foam and nitro cold brew drinks. (:

I love your reviews💙 but I'm not a big coffee drinker to be honest with you. If i have too much caffine it makes my anxiety act up. So i will stick to my pepsi 20 ounce and every once in awhile i buy 4 packs of the mocha frappachino or carmel but other than that I'm good😀 when i was a teenager i could drink mountain dew like it was going out of style lol but now that I'm older for some reason i can't handle as much anymore but i still loved this review. When you came back and said your heart was racing from it yep see that's what monster energy drinks did to me and i had to stop drinking them and i was upset cuz they were so delicious imo. Love ya peter and i wouldn't drink the rest of that just to be on the safe side💙

Our store offered free "shots" of this amazing brew. I went through the drive thru, drank my shot, and proceeded to park and order a "tall"!
I've had difficulty sleeping for a couple months, and this stuff was like a street drug: I had the most wonderful burst of energy! Best i'd felt this whole time.
I love the gradient in that! It is pretty! The nitro cold brew reminds me of a stout beer. That’s the only beer I drink because it’s stronger than others. I love it!

I hope ouStarbucks has this, as my preference IS espresso, strong coffee. But you know, I like baby coffee, meaning I'll get the tall with sweet cream & probably 3 sugars 😂🤣😂.
Brewed coffee actually has more caffeine than espresso, clocking in around 120mg per average size mug, as does a 12 oz Iced Coffee @ Starbucks. For the sake of comparison, a 12 oz. Pike Place contains 260mg of caffeine

you could have just got 2 grandes lol. they don't sell chai tea's either in anything larger than a venti because of the caffeine but i usually just get two of them. theres always a way around the system

I usually ask for a grande nitro cold brew and a grande cup of ice drink half pour the other half on ice the flavor completely changes with ice

I actually think the "nitro" added nitrogen is the gimmick. Nitrogen is a gas, and you noticed how quickly it disapaited. Its basically a really large espresso eith the gimmicky nitro thing added so they can upcharge the price. 🤔
internal optometrist nah it's infused into the drink, makes it smoother and taste sweeter than regular coffee, also it has more caffeine due to it using more beans in the process than regular . They do charge too much for it really though but it's the same at the tyre garages when they want to charge you £4 per wheel to fill them with nitrogen claiming it reduces fuel consumption and makes them last longer , well yeh but not enough to justify the price .....

I think the recommended caffine consumption per day is 300mg so it makes sense that the grande already has 280 mg.
The nitro part and being on tap is the gimmick here
Dunkin Donuts has nitro, too, and you can only get a small. It seems convenient if you need caffeine but you're going somewhere that doesn't allow drinks so you have to slurp it down real fast? I don't know.

That’s really not a lot. A grande blonde roast cup of coffee has 360 mg. The caffeine content is the gimmick with nitro.
Had my first Nitro in an artisan shop in Ho Chi Minh and had to look for that in .y country since

I remember chugging this down the hatchet & it was a BIG mistake! I rarely ever drink coffee & i didn't know how much caffeine was in there or what coffee to order at Starbucks so I just thought to order the Nitro Cold Brew. I finished it in about 10 minutes or so while I was driving & then all of a sudden I started to get real bad shakes & I was very hyper focused on everything. I also got super paranoid, thinking people were following me while I was driving, I guess it didn't help it was late in the day I was driving too, that made it a bit scarier lol anyways lesson learned, DO NOT drink a coffee like this one when you rarely ever drink any type of coffee whatsoever & DO NOT chug it down like some kinda idiot unless you can take it. It was also a good thing I was already getting close to my house otherwise idk what would have happened, probably would have pulled over to chill the hell out for a while lmao

Just as creamy on the head. Seriously, their draught tap infuses that nitrogen so slowly and richly. Starbucks nailed the body on that drink ⚡️
I used to drink alot of coffee, there was this instant coffee called Rocket Fuel, it didn't taste that great but my god it was strong, it got me through a few night shifts when I'd had very little sleep, I'd end up having too much and get really jumpy and headachey though 💙💙💙💙💙🙂✌🏻

I’m hardcore! I chug mine and i love it so much! I had to get 2 of them on my second try, then i then found a SB that would serve me a Venti size. I guess it is the equivilant to a monster in the effects.

Just had a thought as an x barista. I think the only grande thing is bc it technically is all 16oz of coffee due to the no ice factor,. For example if you get a venti iced cold brew it's not all 24oz of cold brew. I'd say 10oz of the cup space is ice.
I love the nitro. It's so smooth. Next time try to get a sip when you first get it when it's still creamy looking. It's amazing how creamy and delicious the coffee is. Still good once it settles but I really enjoy that first sip.
