By using Swayam app only, all the Features of NPTEL will work.
So their is no separate app by name NPTEL.
So, you use Swayam app with your NPTEL credentials to login.

Just do any object oriented programming language course specially i recommend you Programming with java , Data Structure and algorithm using python or C++ , Reason behind this is the employment, they provide u job specially if you score good in any of these course then you will get an opportunity of job from big mnc's with huge package and believe me i got placement from nptel and my role is of developer in infosys.

@@PrashantSharma-ve1um yes, few of my friends from ME department are also placed in an IT company like TCS, COGNIZANT , INFOSYS and also because companies just see your skills of problem solving ability and tests few basics of C language as this language is taught to everyone irrespective of their branches in their 2nd sem or 3rd sem , so, they test problem solving skills of one candidate not computer science knowledge . Yes, one thing to note that All IT companies are not same but the company i mentioned above and also many more makes eligible to non IT branches candidate for their recruitment, so mechanical or any non IT students have not only opertunity to go but also many people who have experienced of 10 years or more in IT company from Non IT field just make and develop great things in IT industry still now. You can google it, i bet you will get answer of it bro😊
