You are not going to want to miss this one!!!
I was contacted a few weeks ago from Kevin the owner and lead Maine guide at Bug'n Out Adventures and Maine Guide School 360 telling me about his retreat training weekend he was doing with his current class and I knew instantly that I had to be a part of it!
We went to The Human-Nature Hostel for three days where they would study and get some back woods training with not just Kevin but also have the chance to learn a few skills from Ryan Holt who you may or may not know him from his 4 times on the ultimate survival show Naked and Afraid. The guy is amazing and the Hostel he has created is incredible it's worth a video all in itself another time!
So I packed my bags and headed to the mountains to explore this area and see these amazing folks work towards there dream of being a Maine Guide!
There passion for the outdoors and desire to show it to other is incredible I could not be more supportive of their quest! While we were there a few reporters took interest in them as well and you can find more interviews and paper write ups on the @Bug'n Out Adventures page along with more info if you want to take their class.
