If you’re spending money on customs surely you can get the OG Hulk PF. I love both my Hulk and Thor EX. These are great statues if you want the classic Avengers setup.

As of today, I am 8 months new to this game, but my collection has EXPLODED! (4 PFs and 3 more on preorder. Three 1:1 busts - my favorite! And quite a few other 1:10s)
I suppose the piece that I feel like I missed out on was Colossus with Lockheed..
That PF is simply perfect! The stance, the presence; even if you didn't know who he was, you know what he is capable of!

This was a fun look at some of the OG statues, I never knew Abomination got some love by Sideshow, and even though its newer, that Legendary Beast Thor statue is my “love but never owned” statue
The Cable PF exclusive with Deadpool’s hand coming out the portal is my shoulda coulda woulda piece. Still relatively affordable I’ll probably get it down the line.

My Sideshow wish is the Colossus and Cyclops vs Sentinel diorama. I got into the statue game around the same time as you Gem, but I missed this one by a few years. Some day, I’ll pull the trigger on it.

Great topic today Gem. I wish I could own the XM Magneto on Throne, but he’s a bit under-scaled for 1/4. I also wish I could own the OG XM Ghost Rider, Dark Phoenix, etc…but space and money my friend…space and money. 😂
Damn I remember when all of these went up for PO. All traditionally sculpted to, just some amazing work. Very difficult for me to do a top 10 cause they’ve released so many amazing pieces. This is a good list though Gem 👊

Far to many to list, just got into the statue game this year when I started to slow down on collecting comics and funko. Sooooo many great pieces missed, luckily got Slan in time when it opened up on wait list so that was a big win in my book.
I always wanted to get into statue collecting but missed so many great ones and man those fu*king prices is freaking crazy
Thor does have a switch out headsculpt. The reg has it fixed to the body, but not the Ex. Never had a problem with the cap. And the OG Hulk is the best of the best.

I, like you, love the Sideshow life size busts. I'm lucky enough to own both the Batman Busts (Black and Blue) and the Green Lantern Bust. I have always wanted the Daredevil as well, he's hard to find now and expensive if you do.
Oh that OG deadpool is still my favortie deadpool statue, but I've never picked it up. I really wish it came with a katana for the left hand like the X-force version. I have seen there are some custom katana hands out there for the statue.
I've always wanted the OG Ms. Marvel PF....saw it at a con but I wasn't a statue collector yet. They are available just I haven't been willing to pay for it yet. 👍
Didn’t order the coolprops Scar Predator life size bust from sideshow. Now the company didn’t make the es, cancelled a ton of POs and if you want one it is at a premium on EBay.
I like your top 10 videos. Have you done them on just one character? Since you mentioned them: Top 10 favorite Deadpool statues? Wolverine? Etc.

A lot of cool pieces I hadn’t seen before. Did get that Superman recently as I still think it has the best portrait being based off Alex Ross’ take. Sadly while I prefer the main portrait, the piece is too high on my kallax to work, had to go with the exclusive which is also cool, but makes him look a little too evil for my tastes. Overall though great piece despite not being a big mixed media fan myself, surprised it is so cheap.
Man for me it’s the Star Wars Gamorrean Guard Mythos. It came out before I got into the statue game now its a grail that’s way out of my price range. Maybe one day.
Wow Gem. That list of past statues is definitely very impressive indeed. I almost got that Hulk vs Spiderman with the street light but it was going for too much. Lucky I didn't because I would have lost it in the divorce. Then I would really be pissed off. Have to slow get back. Recently I missed that Sideshow Sabertooth that came out last year, do to unemployment because of the Corona virus. I am currently trying to find one to buy. I agree that that life size bust of the Jocker is outrageously good. Can you imagine if they came out with a human life size bust of Galactus. That would pair great with any Silver Surfer out there. When you get to your new home you will have the space to get alot of those full size busts. Happy hunting.

Not a statue, but always wanted the Hot Toys '89 Batman to go with my Keaton batman. If i ever see it for around 1500s i might pull the trigger. I've seen it for 2k!. That Batman SS bust is also on my list to get someday.
Neytiri Life size bust by Sideshow, Neytiri Legendary Scale by Sideshow, Neytiri PF by Sideshow, and Green Arrow PF by Sideshow. I think all four of these pieces look fantastic but I am not paying resell prices on them. I came in the game after the Avatar pieces, and Arrow was like just released I believe when I came in the game and was still exploring the Statue world etc, was just a lil to late for him as well.
The Superman is the Ace on this list.
Just put an extra sticky pad under the base, to prevent the cape from creating lean.

Thanos on Throne. I had it in hand but after three of them broke in transit I finally got frustrated and returned it. Maybe cheating a bit with that answer but every time I see that statue I wish I had it
If this vid came out a month ago I would have said Dr Doom on Throne but luckily one was listed for a decent price and I was able to sell my Psylocke X-Force PF with psyblade arm to completely fund the purchase of Doom. Incredible piece in person, I have the Thanos on Throne Exclusive and Doom is just as detailed, his mask is still the best sculpted of all the 1/4 licensed and customs I have seen.

Hey GEM, you mentioned breakage over many videos. What do you do when that happens? I have a statue with breakage. I would love your experience with breakage and what you did, etc.
I love batman flashpoint by prime1 studio but i never owned it, because of the mix media caped peeling issues. But still considering in my list.

The hulk/Spidey diorama has always been one of my favorite. I discovered sideshow a couple years after they did it and never got it. Definitely a grail in my book.

For me the OG Galactus and Thanos on throne are the ones I want but gave never gotten and now the price on both of them is out of my range. Maybe down the road I'll be able to snag them both.

Out of the ten I’d buy the silver Deadpool. It’s simplistic in sculpt and the color looks more intense compared to the red.
Speaking of Sideshow life size busts, i think their OG Predator life size bust is still the best Predator life size bust out there

I always wanted the Flashpoint Batman one by Prime 1. Always liked the design where it's basically the Batman design except he's got red accents with the red, beady eyes, red around the bat symbol, and that red holster around the waist is just chef's kiss, along with those really spiky, gothic shoulder pads
Now that I look at it again, the ARTFX statue by Kotobukiya on Sideshow's site looks better to me than the Prime 1.

Love the Superman pick, but where's the Colossus / Cyclops vs Sentinel. C'mon baby, for a while this was considered Sideshow's best statue before they embraced 1/4 scale. You gotta put some respect on Sideshow's VS series baby! Daredevil vs Punisher, Blade vs Dracula, X-23 vs Lady Deathstroke....c'mon now.

Hey I had a question! When you accidentally damage an omnibus what do you do? I got my first omnibus and the edges of the dust jacket are messed up and the front cover has scratch marks and im freaking out and debating wether to get a new one or not.

Sideshow Ms Marvel Premium Format. Love how simple yet strong it looks but the fabric kill it for me. Not to mention the flat base that I don't like either.

As for me, it would have to XM studio Dark Phoenix, I would love to own it, but I was not collecting 1/4 scale X-men and now it can go for 3000 dollars. It will probably never end up in my collection, but it's an amazing statue.
I have always had my eye on the beast Statue. Never pulled the trigger. Never had the money to play with. I will just do something else I can make money on with 1200-1800 before I would buy my favorite statue. So I bought and X men 15 instead in a 3.5 - 4.5 condition. I just wish they had a better night crawler. I see why you like the Dare devil and Green Lantern Busts they are sweet. Yo sell me your guts statue. Guts is sweet. Egg of the King Minty Fresh. Totally Jealous of your Sentinel diorama. I would love to get to a CGC x-men 14 someday. Instead I bought an X men omni from GEM MINT. Stay minty Fresh y'all.
