I live in Edinburgh and visited Greyfriars very late at night with a friend a couple of years ago. I am a complete sceptic but thought I would humor my friend and chum them along. It was very dark and creepy but not too bad However when we got to just outside Bloody Mckenzie's tomb a gust of wind blew up out of nowhere and the branches on the tree behind us made an ominous creaking noise. You've never seen a sceptical grown man leave a graveyard so quickly in your life.
At 3:01 the woman who looks so visibly shaken is actually an actress. Her name is Angel Coulby and went to Queen Margaret Uni in Edinburgh. Little fact they failed to mention.
I have been there one month ago... And I got fascinated by Mackenzie's story... The two cemeteries in the city centre are absolutely terrifying... Edinburgh itself is charming and it is full of ghost stories. One of the best cities I've ever been.
I didn't believe in ghosts, but after watching this my gran's cat pissed on the lounge carpet whilst howling at a photo of our dog, and then attacked the tea-cozy (which bore the imprint of an owl), and when we put it out in the garden it drowned itself in fish-pond after defecating on my granddad's roses. Don't tell me it's all mere coincidence.
How did you manage to get in there on your own??? It's locked, isn't it!? Did you break into it? By the way: I was in the mausoleum a few weeks ago and I left out with bruises on my right arm O_o that was cool!
funny thing is I was in Greyfriar about year before the "ghosties" got riled up. I was there during the Military Tattoo and thought finding a hotel/hostel would be nigh impossible and being in my backpacking days I actually contemplated about staying in the cemetery because it didn't seem all that scary though I wouldn't have done what the homeless guy did going into crypt nor did I have an interest in despoiling the dead for trinkets. Found a bed at a hostel though so I avoided that spiritual trap.
think i should certainly pitch a canvas tent in this place for a night or two...

It's not locked. In Scotland cemeteries are open 24h day. I just visited it too late and the the sun went out when I was too far from the gates. I felt the smell and that annoying feeling when there is too much silence, but nothing else. No physical damage at all XD
I've been to Greyfriars, it's not haunted, i was there for hours and i noticed nothing, there were heaps of visitors while i was there too, and everyone was laughing and chatting. It's was fine, it's a beautiful place though. Scotland is beautiful.
Allan Robson is the ex presenter of night owls on Metro radio based in Newcastle. I knew i had heard his voice somewhere before. And the narrator is the psychic midget of poltergiest. =0)
@babygirlsarah2289 Yes I am Scottish! I lived in Bearsden for my childhood and I now live in Ayrshire. My fiance's brother lives in Edinburgh. It's how we pronounce it. Just the same as there is silent letters in some english words etc.

It absolutely isn't. They pronounce it like an American would, like "burg". That isn't how it is said by Scots/Brits as a whole. It's pronounced like "borough".
sadistbasilisk thats because it is the girl from Merlin, she is called Angel Coulby, she was just starting off as an actress at the time in theatre and studying drama at Edinburgh University and she was asked to be interviewed about her experience in the cemetery for this show, but she asked for her name to be changed so that her identity was protected in case she broke into television acting so that gave her the name Awassa Tact which is actually an acronym for "I was attacked" :)

i almost died when i was a little girl and i've been seeing ghost all my life, off and on, no matter where i go, they follow...
