This video is quite clearly real. The fact that you can see the other targets that have been rubbed off the lense from previous efforts demonstrate this. He clearly didn't hit the target on the first attempt but he did eventually. I think the big grin at the end shows this!
Check the ball's shadow. At :42 it's lighter than it is 1 sec later. Rooney's shadow never changes density even as he runs across the same bit of the pitch. Shenanigans! Plus the swoosh is facing the camera in the frame right before it hits the camera.
He is the most honest!!! Last night against Wolves the ref gave a fowl on him right outside the Wolves box, Rooney said it wasn't a foul and the ref gave a hop ball, where Rooney gave the ball straight back to the Wolves keeper!!!

He's been stiking things and playing since his dad bought him his first ball when he was just a few years old. Now if your telling me that a lad as dedicated, and as naturally gifted as Rooney couldn't do that, can you explain how they 'edited' it?
thats probably part of it. i've met and even played with some people that have played professionally, and none of them are this accurate or even close. it just seems so that if he is this accurate his finishing should be better. examples are c.ronaldo, beckham, and shearer are probably this accurate or more and they show it with their finishing in games.
There are so many people saying that.. let's hope he's heard it by now! Must be said, however, he lost most of last season to injury, but I think he'll start getting 20+ soon enough. Ronaldo's exit will be a blessing in disguise for Rooney.

yeah maybe if football consisted simply of penalty kicks. you seem to forget that you dont just stand in place and keep up the ball before you shoot...there is running, defenders pressuring you from behind as well as being in your path, as well as the goalkeeper standing between you and the goal. i thought that was obvious
cool vid and it probably is real. the only thing is if he is actually that accurate, why isn't he a better finisher. he is a good player, and scores goals. his playing just seems to be more in using his skill in build up play and scores special goals, but doesn't always finish as much as he should.

the wax crayon could come of fairly quick to do a retake. But the real secret is the pile of dead cameras off to the side from all the takes that didn't have the nike logo just right. (grins)
