"A bitch walked in my house again, so I decided to punish him but turned out he's a Slenderman looking guy so I noped out. "
Anyways, back to the story. A snowstorm had been blowing the day it happened, and another one of the intruders entered my home. I didn't see them in the basement, but I could definitely hear them. They were so loud, shouting about things that I didn't really pay attention to. It was extremely annoying, but I couldn't great them just yet.
Eventually, the noises stopped, and I could hear footsteps coming towards the bedroom. It seemed that they were going to stay the night, like their peers from all the years before. I really wanted to strike now, but I managed to convince myself to wait till at least around 4 am.
Once I was convinced that 4am had struck, I slowly made my way out of the basement towards the bedroom. I could still hear whoever had broken in snoring. I couldn't wait to see their face when they saw me emerge. When I entered the room, the snoring stopped abruptly, but this didn't bother me. It was better if they were awake to see me.
I expected the thing to scream when they saw me, but to my utter confusion, they didn't. They were as quiet as a mouse, even though I was sure they were awake. Maybe they weren't? I walked towards the bed to check.
The creature jumped out of the bed, and it grabbed the thing that was making the noise. The thing started emitting light, light that wasn't natural, a light so cold and metallic, just like the beeping noises it was making. It seemed that the creature could control the light, because when it touched it's fingers to the beeping thing, the light grew even brighter and it started to flicker. It hurt so much.. my senses were overflowing with agony. To make matters worse, a new sound was coming out of the thing. It was music, but it just wasn't natural. Nothing about this situation was natural, from the lack of facial features on the creature to the cold flickering light and the unnatural music and sounds. I quickly retreated towards the basement, hoping to get away, but the creature kept following me. Only when I entered the calming darkness of the basement tunnel was I able to get away. The creature slammed the doors closed, and among the music, I could hear the faint click of a lock.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who giggled at the monster freaking out about his face. In person I imagine it's horrifying, but as it's described I can't help but find it funny imagining a monster freaking out over a lack of face and then even more at the cell phone noise.

Don't know about you guys but I don't listen to any other creepypasta readers except this guy. It's nothing against anyone else but something about his voice is just so immersive.
Agreed. I've even tried listening to other Creepypasta readers and always think 'meh' Creeps' voice is immersive, chilling and soothing all at the same time. I fall asleep listening to his videos quite a lot.

Yes, i agree (but i like mr. nightmare too) i don't know if it's just me or what... but i have much difficult to understand certain things creepsmcpasta says...(I'm Brazilian, learning English and Spanish by myself) maybe because i am too used to listen USA pronunciation or simple because mr. nightmare have best diction than creepsmcpasta, my English aren't good enough to distinguish... but ok, i catch almost 95% of the idea :)

@@katelynbodiford5680 The monster mutilated like a dozen people, and kept them alive during the entire excruciating process. It doesn't even have any reason to kill people, we don't even get some tragic backstory for it (and even if we did, it would still be a horrendous monster)
And if we take the ending at fave value is stalked this man for years, and followed him around just to torment him (since if the thing was still scared of him it wouldn't be following him and I doubt he is going to get as lucky as he did the first time)

I think it actually WANTED a "no-face" - I mean, it seemed to take the face off of any person who entered the cabin. Remember the people in the picture, too. A person without a face was really significant to it.

Creeps! Don't know if this is the right place for this because I don't know if you'll see it, but a year ago you did a reading of a short Creepypasta story called Suggestion Box that I fell in love with and it actually inspired me to do a short film adaptation of it! After spending a year or so procrastinating about it I finally got it done and I would love to hear thoughts on it! Also of course I'd love to hear the thoughts of fellow Creepypasta listeners/writers/etc. I love the creative community that has spawned from this and I hope to get more involved! Alright, shameless self promotion over.

Creeps, you're awesome. This story, however, is not very well thought out. No one would have chosen to 'find a house' to stay in. It would either be a hotel (regardless of the drive it would take) or the car. Either way, you did a fabulous job, as always.
Have you been to europe? Within the last 50 years and even today it can be common place for backpackers to ask to stay at random peoples houses. Or for people to offer a couch to a backpacker.
When I first got into horror and thought I had built up a resistance, this story scared the shit outta me. Now, months later, I'm back.

I can't help but wonder if the creature had been waiting for "no-face", and tried to make any human who came to the cabin into "no-face". The two adults in the picture with their faces smoothed over, and the thing's excessive reaction, tell me that a person without a face was really meaningful to it. It's so intriguing… :3
