He’s working through alot of stress and betrayals in this one. Groin was the monk at a temple who sold him out to tabloids and expectations to be a diplomat people riding his fame “get out the trunk”, Nuts his toxic relationship, here it was friendships society but he goes back into it at the end. One thing is you often/usually gotta work to get the layers of meaning in BTS songs and solos. I love reactions to see how everyone finds something different. Little Simz cooked on this. My favorite on the album.
The video is so cool! I'm still trying to figure out what narrative to read into it, I think I probably need to give the album a couple more listens first. The guys who directed it are part of a Korean hip hop collective called 'Balming Tiger' who RM worked with on this album. He has a previous collab with them called 'Sexy Nukim' which also has a very interesting video!
I'm gonna be either streaming, or making a video listening to the whole album. soon. I'm not sure what format to do it in, It might just be a video for now because I'm looking kind of middle aged with this beard I got. and when I'm live streaming I like to look fresh LOL. But I have saving his comment to so I can refence it when I look at "sexy Nukim" which has be interested now

I think you’d have a field day with the solo releases from the BTS rappers, especially RM 😭😭😭 but I love the imagery used to tell this story of childhood, societal pressure and friendship, probably one of my favorite mvs of the year so far
