No problem - I'm looking to pair that up with an engl e530. I like Engl amps but I'm afraid to buy anything other than the e530 because of their build quality. Several techs have told me to stay away from them. The e530 was recommended because of easy access to the components. I have 3 modded amps - a mesa dual rec - a Marshall tsl and a peavey 6505 - I love them all. You know how it is - 3 amps ain't enough. An artist uses many different colors to paint with - just like we need many amps ha ha. I have to get my hand on the Vht. I was told by a respected tech to go with the Vht. Besides the Engl power amp is $2,300.
So, you still have the cab sim turned on even though you're running it through a real cab? Hmm- have you tried it without the sim on? Just curious- the Fractal forum folks would say that's all wrong- but you're getting really good tone here. I'm playing with the idea of running my AX8 into my 2x12 Celestial V30 Mesa cab instead of my studio monitors- but assumed I'd be turning the cab sim off. Either way- great tone on this- more "early" Yngiwe, which is a good thing.

Good flat response or does it color the tone some? That's a tube power amp- but still sounding great with that preset and the amp sims on. Well done!

yjmsrv I love the 2/90/2 it's very powerful and doesn't color the tone much at all.
What overdrive pedal? And what cab simulator?
