    One step to understand Nigeria and Nigerians is to realise how diverse the country is....350 ethnic groups, over 500 languages and counting, so many different cultures even we Nigerians get confused by the variety. 😂
    When you come from that kind of environment, you learn to mix and live with people from different backgrounds.eg in an average govt or private office in Nigeria, you will see Nigerians sometimes frpm 10 different tribes working together; there will be differences of course but they try to resolve issues and work. Same with school environment, neighbourhoods etc. So much diversity
    Thats one of the main reasons Nigerians cope easily when they leave the country for other places; they blend in easily bcos they are used to dealing with people from different ethnicities, backgrounds

    I’ll say this: Like every African country, Nigeria is also having challenges in Politics. It’s not just unique to Nigeria.
    But again, Africans as a whole should give themselves a break with the competition, mostly in politics and the economy. Most African countries are not even up to 70 years in independence.
    We are comparing ourselves with Countries who have been independent since over 300 years or since their existence!!!!

    Why Nigerians thrive in other African countries but other Africans are not thriving in Nigeria? To be honest with you, surviving in Nigeria is a different ball game compare to other countries. You struggle and compete to get almost everything. From your mother getting an averagely suitable hospital to give birth to you to school admissions, jobs, business to even getting justice. For every single opportunity you have a hundred people jostling for it. For most Africans coming to Nigeria, they have to navigate a system that the Nigerian themselves find extremely difficult to thrive in.

    • @genesisbera7761
      @genesisbera7761 Před 5 měsíci +1

      There is a difference between " thriving" in a place and not being able to withstand the miserable living conditions, and a corrupt system in which nothing works.. Nigerians never want to even go back to their own country once they get to other African countries, like South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya..they are all over until deported

    Nigerians are good at coming together to achieve a common goal or project.
    It's an integral part of their culture, whereas such cooperation is somewhat forced in other places. Certainly less organic.

    If you go out of Europe and American and when you interviewed them to list 1 of African countries and they will recognize giant of African name especially Nigerians names cause they know their dominant and they got a lot of potential weather im education or scam or so many things after mentioning Nigerians name they comes first followed by South Africa 2nd, but Nigerians are still famous in so many things and even in creativity cause in slavery most European white took more of west African Nigerian population and right now people trace their dna to Nigerian population it consist of Igbo Hausa Yoruba ancestors and if not for Nigerian success no African diaspora will come visit African till this date and the Yoruba culture is found 4 corners of the earth and you guys need to watch bigger than Africa you will no there’s a lot about Nigerians, it reach in culture and diversity and that make so many people in the world to focus more on Nigerians

    Hey bros you're doing great job for putting Africa first and turning point the narratives against each other mostly Nigerians.
    But sorry to put it these ways concerning your Congolese colleague whom awkwardly never see one thing good to emulate from other Africa neighbours to another, but to him Congo is in top of all.The Congolese dude lacks an exposure to be invited for such debates because he's only self-centrik.Such discussion I hope wasn't politics matters but to find one unique way forward to carry all African youths alongside first comes Nigeria, Kenya,S/AF, Ghana,C/AF or whoever doesn't matter but let all African youths woken up from sleeping and stop these hatred against Nigeria and Nigerian's on their moves.
    Kudos to you guys and my shout out to that dude said to come from Uganda.I was sometimes ago at Kampala for something.

    The guy on the left has no clue about the Nigeria Music and Entertainment industry, listening to him tells me he doesn't like Nigerians in general, Nigeria are very industrious, educated, smart and very versatile, Congolese music is also great but it's not on the level as the Afrobeats music. The reason why Nigerians thrive outside the country is mainly because of our background, the bad leadership in the country gives us the fuel to be among the best in the world. Don't hate on Nigeria because the lime-light is on us right now instead celebrate us, and it maybe your turn tomorrow. God bless.
