mines kinda basic but my ps4 so my aunt used to work at this small catholic school that i went to at the time. she was a one man army she would cook, she would teach , she would plan the parties/gatherings, she was even the librarian but one day she was diagnosed with a bad hernia and later cancer so she would ask me help her work and later do the work that needed to be done this helped me learn responsibility and the meaning of hard work i did grueling work (for my age) for three years before she eventually beat cancer and after the smoke had cleared and the doctors said she was alright i was taken on a surprise trip to walmart where i was given my very own ps4. i have it to this day and every time i take a moment to look at it i remember the work i put into it and happiness it brings me. ps. my aunt is now happily retired cleared of any pain and is living the good life.

A long one. If you mean IRL.
I got two rings. One on each hand on the Ringfinger. They are supposed to be emotion rings (Change color depending on your mood but its temperature) and my little brother gifted me one BEFORE I went to the military (Im in austria so its mandatory) and one after. The one that I got before is now completely black and has no more color in it and the other is still all shiny and all. Just reminds me of those good ol' days

The bee story reminds of that one time I went farming a bee for OP levels.
I couldn't get a good one to drop, so I kinda gave up at some point and did the handsome sorc. On my way there I smashed a few pots for ammo. As one does. I don't believe it came from the pot itself, but I went absolutely ballistic when I found a perfect bee in the shards...
Now I always smash every destroyable pot in every borderlands game. 😅

One of my most prized possessions is my Sthil 440 magnum chainsaw. I was 14 when I first ran it. That was after my dad and I stopped on the interstate, on our way to work, to put out a grass fire. We put it out so fast that the firefighters flew past us on the frontage road and came back about 5 minutes later.
Growing up, I saw my dad run towards fire three times. The dude spent almost 36 years fighting fires from wildland to residential. The day I ran my first chainsaw, was also the day I fought a fire with my dad, the last one he ever fought.

I have a picture of myself as a child. The glass is broken, the frame is half melted and warped, and it's covered in dirt and ash. It was one my grandpa had framed in his living room. One day his house burned down and he had to move in with us. About 3 months later the city bulldozed the remains, then 6 months after that he got sick and passed. Over a year later, my dad and i were out running errands and decided to swing by the neighborhood. One of his neighbors saw us and brought it out. They said they'd found it in the grass about 3 months before. That picture survived the fire, getting bulldozed, and lying in the grass for over a year, and still found its way back to me

QOTD: On the last night of confirmation school we all were given a sheet of cardboard where everyone wrote their name, and then we passed that paper around in a circle and everyone wrote something nice about that person on it. It was exhausting experience as we finished it at like 4am in the morning, but felt so nice afterwards. I haven't really seen anyone from the school in maybe 6-7 years (and it's been bit over 14 years from the school itself) but I still have that sheet hung on my wall. It's nice to read it every once in a while.

My sentimental item is a fake metal cap or mark that is on the top or Diamond Head in Hawaii. My brother allowed me to stay with him and his wife in Hawaii while he was on base. One day he took me to Diamond head and we hiked and talked about deep stuff the whole time. When we were passing the shop he said he needed to go to the bathroom so I waited for him. He came back out with that, he had purchased it in the shop for me. It is sentimental because I have memory issues and do not remember growing up with my brother at all, even though we always lived in the same room till he went into the Marines. I'm so proud of who my brother has become. I love and miss him so much.

QOTD: My grandmother, whom I shared a birthday with, bless her heart, had very skinny legs due to her years of bad health confining her to a wheelchair for a majority of the later decades of her life. Because of this, and my families sense of humor, she was given a pair of chicken leg socks one Christmas, and she wore them constantly. She loved those socks dearly, and when she passed, there was a great deal of discord on who they would go to. My grandfather had control over all of her possessions and knew that I really was torn up from her passing since we were close, and gave them so me on the side. This was right before my last year of high-school, and I wore those damn socks to every single senior Night, and every one of our final matches. Football, wrestling, soccer, track, and baseball. Every single one. When I'm not wearing them, including right now, they sit in my safe which sits next to my head as I sleep. Those socks mean the world to me, just as she did.

This is a sad one Joltz. On the day my baby girl (cat) died her feeding bowl broke. I still have that bowl, I miss her so much.
I still occasionally have dreams of her and in one of those dreams I had a realization. Because I still have her bowl I could bring her back to life because that meant I had her DNA. I was happy for a moment before waking up.

my mom gave me a box of yugioh cards when i was 10 years old im 24 now. Those cards have sentimental value to me and i kept them in the same box in my closet years later! It has sentimental value to me because she was never really interested in my hobbies, she handed me the box and said i know you can do it and it gave me motivation to do alot in my life!

A watch that was my great grandfather's, which pairs beautifully with a ring that was my grandfather's, I never met either of them, but I've been told I'm just like my grandfather.

My craziest world drop moment would be when a Pearlescent and a Legendary were both in the same red chest together with it being an Unforgiven and a Thunderball Fists. Still got the screenshot of it too! Kinda wanna know how rare it is though…

    QOTD:
This is going to sound weird, but I have multiple handheld notebooks with 10-pin bowling scores on them dating back 20 years. When I first moved to the town I live in now 20 years ago, I didn't have any way of making friends so my parents suggested joining a bowling league. I made new friends that I have to this day. My grandmother was the one who always took me and she would always write down my scores for the fun of it. Although my grandma has since passed, I still have those notebooks, and I still bowl in a weekly league, and 2 weeks ago I shot my highest game to date of 299.

Qotd: A red winter hat that was my papas, my grandma gave it to me after he passed away. It means to much to me not just because it was his but because of a picture that I have saved where he is taking me down a sledding hill on a sled that he had built while wearing the red hat with the big goofy smile he always had. I was too young at the time for it to become a memory for me but every time I see that hat I wish I could remember.

QOTD: A pearl bracelet i got as a kid by a summer vacation friend.
We used to go to the same vacation spot in Croatia, and so did a German family. I befriended their son which was in his 20's while i was 12, and we each year had a adventure where we drove around in Croatia to explore caves and the beaches.
Sadly he died to cancer when i turned 16. RIP, i will forever keep the bracelet in his memory.

Very weird answer to the question of the day but, I have a really big sentimental connection to a stuffed owl that sits perched in my TV room. My uncle shot it for stealing chickens from his barn.

The thing I own with the most sentimental value is probably my pocket knife. It has my name and high school graduation date on it, but the reason why it has sentimental value is because it was a gift from my grandfather, but unfortunately couldnt give it to me in person before he passed away. I received it before his funeral and cherish it to this day.
