In this video I will show you how to remove and replace window regulator on a Seat Exeo, Audi A4 B6 B7 B8 chassis

I feel your pain. I totally agree. You have to dismantle the whole door and window frame just for 1 regulator. Definitely very poor design. I have done it twice and hope this is the last time. Thanks for your nice message🤝

Successfully replaced both front window regs today using this video 👍
Passenger side has hidden screw under inner door handle when removing door card.. other than that no difference really 👍
Note : before fully reassembling plug in window motor to ensure everything works first.
Also when attaching motor give it a good push into place and tighten the 3 screws simultaneously back and forth this will centre the motor evenly to the cog in the window reg..
Mine firstly misaligned and almost chewed up the motor cog 😂🤦♂️
Good job you realised it on time otherwise it would have been a disaster. Good job to get both done today. Once you have done 1 side the other one is much faster
@@TheKeenMechanic definitely much faster. The spurious regs don't look great probably be gone in no time haha
A job I had to do a few weeks ago. This could have come in handy back then!
I have had very little spare time lately and was delaying this fix for a while but it was getting very annoying so I had to do it eventually. There was no video on the Exeo so I thought I will cover that one as well. Not difficult but just time consuming. Did you bring it to a garage or did you fix it yourself Ciaran? Plenty videos on the A4 though which is nearly identical
