@@CSGOCOMPILER You're taking it at face value lol. He has a pain problem but also psychologically depends on it to function. He literally suffers from Vicodin withdrawal in the first season when he bets with Cuddy that he can last a week without it to prove he isn't addicted. So yes, you haven't watched the show.
This episode really made Taub shine. He always knew there was something wrong with the patient while the other doctors were tricked.

Nah, this is post hoc nonsense. Just saying “see I told you I was right about that one guy” while Taub is a serial cheater and probably wouldn’t love some of the “off” feelings people have about him 😂
The ending of this episode was definitely one of the biggest OMG moments, I mean a cannibalistic serial killer who's wanted in 10 states for a string of 13 murders, this just goes to show that in a hospital you never know who you're treating until it's too late

@@dragonkamran I can agree with this, objectively, but being in love with psychopathology, having underlined how Goody Two Shoes world view point gets CRUSHED by it.. I can't help, but love cannibal serial killer blessed by God with second chance end. Like all that morals, that are overflowing through whole episode... Then punchline by end. 🔥
Objectively most SHOCKING is indeed BUS EPISODE. Also 'Enjoy Yourself' and House ending in asylum, when Chase and Cameron makes vows. But this ending is amazing punchline to all preaching about 'every human are precious' that episode does. Giving us reasons to feel sorry for Danny. Manipulating us to find GOOD in Danny... And then just delivering us nice punch in a face by end. 🔥

FBI is connected to all hospital systems and when sample fitting DNA of wanted in 10 states serial killer cannibal appeared, so did FBI in Plainsboro Hosp. 🤷🏻♀️

He left when no one was looking. FBI showed up when no one called them. They picked up the run on DNA. Dude is wanted in 10 states for 13 murders. He’s a cannibal. Bones in his intestines were first clue.

i recently watched this episode again with the knowladge of the twist, for those who have seen it already i recomened doing it like this becuase there are so many little details through the episode, such as the tin of "vitamin shots" and other details, like his conversations with masters, that only make sence once you have watched the episode, its like an episode of inside no 9

I'm 46 and consider myself an expert on addiction. I believe that statement to be true. Still hoping I'm wrong.
I would think we learn how to not be addicts by developing healthier habits and coping with the pain that causes addiction. But because we have seen the other side and have seen the relief from the substance, our mind sees it as plan B which is very convincing when you have no determination to fight the inner turmoil. With that, yes, once an addict an addict, just intentionally choosing to not indulge.

I find it interesting that House didn't find it interesting why this guy wanted to remain super anonymous. This guy talked about high school life and college life but nobody went Sherlock to find out which school he went. He lied multiple times about his name and identity yet, they still remained oblivious. While Taub had a hunch, he didn't trusted his instincts which was a bummer.
Not sure if it's because House was too heartbroken and distracted so he had divided attention but it's still weird how he missed this when he is the Sherlock of the Sherlocks.
