The "Book of Kells" is an illuminated manuscript containing the four Gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. An illuminated manuscript is a hand-written copy of the text, decorated with colorful initials, borders, and illustrations.

Yet with the entire histoy ofg human knowledge at your fingertips, you were never able to find out ANYTHING about it until this crap little video came along!

Because the host is terrible, the presenting style can only be discribed as AMERICAN, and you don't actually see or learn anything in this video that you couldn;t have found out by going to the Trinity website!

First time I saw the Book Of Kells was in the top floor case. I was told they turned a page each day. I went back each day I was in Dublin. This was late 70s, before the big display and an entrance fee.
