The job market is very limited in a town that doesn't have an airport or a commercial port, no industry. Homes are more pricey than miami or tampa. Restaurants aren't for normal people. You have to be very rich or poor, which serves rich. Nothing on the middle.
Been following your videos for awhile. We moved down here 2019Q4 and decided to rent, well with Covid hitting in 2020, and the skyrocketing RE prices, we're packing it in. Heading back to New England for the summer and will be checking out other parts of FL for more affordability. Naples has outpriced us. The type of house we want is now in in the mid 600k range, whereas in 2019, it was 250k less.
yes, I agree if I had a time machine I would have just bought anything available in 2019. Sorry to see you go, Florida needs great families
Check out citrus county, I lived and loved Naples (and still do) for almost 40 years but just couldn’t afford it anymore. We moved to Inverness and would never move back now. Good luck
You sold me on Naples lock stock and barrel -- great video - thanks
Great vid! And congrats on everything! I love the Mercado!!! Thank you for always giving us the Naples updates!
Thank you :)
I'm pretty much a native here. Folks moved to Naples in 1981. Yea, it's a little slower paced but I like it like that. And the housing market only partly became this way due to the unfortunate administration that's driving everything up. It's always been expensive here but it's out of control. Like you said just in the last 2 and a half years inflation has gone through the roof. It's unfortunate bc it's effects on the blue collar workers are getting hit harder than ever before.
I hear that from a lot of natives and locals, hopefully things cool down and let incomes catch up.
I'm moving there for the winter any ideas for a job for me sir?
Excellent video ❤
Love your content.
That’s a great video, thank you ❤
From NJ here also!!! Great videos!!!
I can totally relate to the cold weather problem
Great video man. Glad the move has worked out for ya
I has so far
I so regret selling my condo 2 years ago at Blue Heron. I recently just checked and can't believe the prices are so high and condo fees have stayed about the same.
who would have known? I hope you bought something else
@@CultureEstate Hello! I watch all your videos and it always makes me feel like I totally made the wrong move on selling my parents condo at Blue Heron in 2021.I used to visit Naples 3x a year for about 14 years. I love Naples but always felt like I couldn't live there full time. Mom and I live in Boston and when Dad passed in 2020 Mom no longer wanted to go be a snowbird. We sold it fully furnished. I love how you take care of your parents!
Awesome video thank you!
thank you
Excellent video!
I miss the old style fishing villages in many parts of sunny Florida, plus I prefer places for retirees to go away from the hustle and bustle of life geared toward families with young children... Sad what's become of small towns in Florida. I visited Naples over a decade ago and I wanted to retire there but if it's changing into something else, I'll research other places that are suited for retired folks over the age of 65 years old...
Sorry to hear that, hopefully you find a place that makes you happy
Great video very informative 👍🏽🙌🏽
Thank you!
Beautiful place ❤enjoy
one thing I picked up from your video, is your struggle with lonliness. that's common. I would recommend trying pickle ball. Once you get into PB, you will meet a ton of great people in your area. East Naples community park has 64 courts as you know and its a great environment. Check it out, its a great scene.
You got me when you said
“God Blessed Me”
Thank you for sharing a great video today with us.
Blessing’s, Carlos ✝️🙏❤️😊❗️
Thank you Carlos, and I owe everything to the Lord
I just moved into Naples a few days ago. Is there any great ways to network to meet new people? I’m looking to play indoor basketball but only see LA Fitness as a option. Do you have any recommendations? It’s crazy lonely for me here now. Especially since my last relationship just ended.
Yeah I feel you. I just moved here from Cali, because my parents moved out here. And I’m so bored. There’s 5th ave and that’s about it. I miss the nice gyms Cali had.
Look into Paradise Coast Sports Complex.
Naples is great for older people but gets boring fast. His kids will feel the same way when they get older.
Sound is really low dude
Great info but your audio levels vary quite a bit.
Yea, i noticed after the fact. I will double check next time
Where's the misses? Or Mr.?
Isn't Naples a primarily white area?
No. Predominantly Hispanic.
Very informative video. I moved to Naples a year ago. I did know about night life in Mercato until this video. I just a quick tip. I have a lot of experience with video editing and audio manipulation. Exporting your the audio in your finished video into an mp3 or wav, then auditing it on some sort of audio editing software is help. Specifically for normalizing your audio or decreasing noise. You can make your audio more consistent. I had to raise my audio, then lower my audio, then really raise my audio
Yes, I recently got new lapel mics and I haven’t gotten used to their quirks yet. Thank you for the tip
I've lived here since 2008 and I've left and went out of the country twice and came back to Naples ! The quality of life has always been great ! Polite people and gorgeous weather in the winter ! No it's not perfect ,but you have to look for things to do like Art shows , sailing , Artis Naples , Barbara B Mann, international Film Festival and the many Foundations . Thanks for the video 🎉
You did a great job my friend
Thank you broski, come visit one day
@@CultureEstate I just got back was in Fort Myers a couple of days with my coaching group
Forgot to mention " The London Club " in The Bellesarra Hotel for entertainment
Good video, bad sound quality.
Working on it
So Naples has a bit of cultural deficit? If you want culture live in London, only a few thousand years of recorded history. Better weather?
Hurricanes 🌀, humidity, HOA’s, everything shuts early, boring as hell, extremely snobby (god knows why!!), it’s a place to die and not for the young !!
How about Marco Island??
I didn’t realize Naples. Was that close to Miami with so many options.
Nearly all white people, wealth, no or low crime, full of Trump supporters, sunsets, beach, sun, flat for cyclists, beautiful greenery, etc. I love it all and plan to move to Naples
Sounds like perfect place to retire, Son!
😑👎Vauge comments on how you have more freedom here then the last placed you lived. But no actual FACTS, , back up what your saying by being EXACT, give details etc,, just tossing out, waiting 30 minutes to get in a store,, tells us nothing. What store, why the wait etc....by the way, people who can live well in Naples..NEVER have to wait for anything
In florida from jersey. Please do not go back to your ideas and start voting liberal. Please go back to jersey and vote straight blue if you feel the urge to do something stupid. Dont ruin Florida.
Yeah ok
I believe many people left those states because of the political climate. People are going to vote how they’re going to vote, though.
Indoctrinated??
How was New Jersey public schools indoctrinating your children?
