@coquetchi yes if the mod isn’t working properly, it will tell you in purple text that it needs a update if it dose need a update
@@coquetchi yeah its very tedious but when opening stardew and smapi opens, it gives you a list of all the mods that can be updated.

I've done everything, but when I click on the installer, the only thing I get is a black screen. No command shows up. I've tried waiting for a bit but it gets stuck there. Anyone knows how to fix this?

I am using the code in the description after following all of the other steps, but when I try to run Stardew with the new code, it gives me this message: "Failed to start process for this game : "The system cannot find the path specified." (0x3)" Any idea what to do?

I downloaded smapi and went to download content patcher and a few other base for the mods I want and it's saying I still need to install smapi even though it pulls up when I run stardew; anyone know how to fix this??

Not sure I’ve never used that mod before but maybe someone on the stardew discord can help you? They have a channel for modding

Ive used SMAPI before, but with the new game update im having issues, I followed your video, but when i open stardew, the SMAPI pop up thing doesnt open at all

To my knowledge no, however cursed forge may work for you but I’m not 100% sure, smapi works by being installed and steam opens the program via the code put in to the steam launch options so I don’t this this can work for Xbox on destop

Is anyone else having the issue where it won't let you sign up for Nexus? Like I'll enter my email and it'll say CAPTCHA failed without ever even giving me a CAPTCHA. Been at this for like an hour and nothing is working.
Yeah here's the thing
You have to wait for the captcha to appear
At the very least it will take about 10 seconds or something. All you have to do is wait for it to appear.
Can you make a step by step like “this is step one” or something cause without those I am so lost, sorry if is a lot I just need numbered instructions
Edit: I also do not know how to extract a file since that was all my sister since I suck ass at modding and doing these computer stuff, I’m also still a minor
Well i cant make the video right now but i can in the future, but for now ill replay woth a atep by step guide
For windows:
Step 1 go to nexusmods website and serch smapi in the serch bar
Step 2 dowload the latest version and make sure it you get the non developer version
Step 3 open your dowloads in the file expoler app then right click the zipped smapi file and click extract all if you cant do this you need to install a program called 7 zip which youll habe to look up how to do
Step 4 when the consle command (black background window with a flasing box indicating where your typing) follow the instructions of the window when its done a message saying installed and a long string of code starting with c:/ or something simular will be under that copy it or copy the same thing which i left in the comments and descroption
Step 5 to install mods return to nexus mods and serch the mod of your choice then click slow download which wont take long, opem steam go to your libary and right click stardew valley and click launch propertys, paste the code you copyed, finally return to to steam right click atardew valley select browse local files open the mods folder and then open dowloads again extract the files of the mods you downloaded. And place the unzipper folders of your mods in to the mods folder of your stardew valley files then close everything and click play on stardew in steam the same black box will apper and will launch stardew if your mods were installed correctly :3
so we just need to replace all of our old mods by downloading the newer/latest one right?
Correct and by putting the newer version in the mods folder it will ask to replace the old one click yes and this will update them
and may I know which content patcher did you use?
@@adinda.pradnya there should only be 1 version of content patcher go to nexus mods and type it in let me check to be sure theirs only 1

i downloaded the newest cjb cheats 1.34 and made sure to replace 33 in my files but when i open smaopi says im still running 1.33, do you know how i can fix it?

when i go to put smapi in the mods folder it hasnt got then option to extract all? 4:50
In this case you may need to dowload 7zip to extract the mid files. Extract all then plqce the unzipped folder in to the mods folder in stardew, to access the kods folder go to steam right click then press browse local files and the file should show up
I just reread your c9mment you need to extract them before you place then in the mod folder

How can I see what mods need an update?
So when you start up standee thru smapi minimize the games screen and go to the command program thing on the black bar where your open apps are, scroll till you see dark purple text that say you need to update mode if you don’t see this your mods are up to date

@@Ethan-bk8yx 1. I did this in one take because I wanted to help everyone quickly because I solved the problem legit 15 minutes after the update came out, 2. Yes I may drag on but just skim a bit forward thru my rambling and you get the full guide. 3if he knew how to install and reinstall why did he watch this video? That’s essentially what the video is telling you to do, dowload the latest patch of smapi to run stardew 1.6 with mods, and a guide to update your mods incase you need a refresher
