I remember being a kid when this was in the Arcades and I was in full haterade mode. I was a SEGA fan and I could not believe Nintendo some how got exclusive Midway fighting games.
Yo walking into the arcade and hearing the announcer's voice on that original KI machine used to get me so fuckin hype

I remember my local video store had one of the original killer instinct arcade machines back when they first came out. Totally blown away back then.

Yeah many people asked about it. But I doubt Microsoft would ever give them the licenses for these since now Microsoft owns Rare Ware now and not Nintendo.

@@edstar83 Pretty cool but that's not official someone modded that. My point officially I highly doubt Microsoft would give the rights plus they are using a raspberry pie a higher end computer running Killer Instinct. The guts that Arcade 1Up are using couldn't run Killer Instinct just because it's a cheaper computer. It would cost more than $299.99 to have Killer Instinct on one of those legally.

Oh man I loved KI2 arcade back in the day. What I wouldn't give to play some KI2 arcade again!!! Wondering how rare/expensive KI cabs are these days?
I bought my Killer Instinct 1 for $2,000 and bought my Killer Instinct 2 for $1,600 about a year ago. I've seen the prices go higher on some I have seen for sale but the first KI machine is hard to find all original like the ones I have.
@@TwistedGamingTV $1600 isn't bad compared to what I was expecting! I have no way to buy a KI2 machine, was just wondering how hard it would be to get one. I know Galloping Ghost has a Ki2 cab, dunno where else in the US has them tho.

@@godfist314 I got lucky on the on both machines. I bought the first KI machine from the original owner that had it since 1994 in his arcade business. He had two but was selling one. Since I bought mine I've seen some KI 1's for 2,500-3,000 now. Both machines are hard to find all original.
Hello my friend. I need your help. how many cabinets were produced for KI2? ki1 were 17,000 and ki2? I need this info.
Now is this the N64 in a cabinet or the ACTUAL KI arcade because the graphics looked wayyyyy better in the OG arcade.

@@kirkrammsy this is the arcade version lmao. Snes version didn't have the power to have full motion rendered video like these do. Also didn't have the Ultra 64 intro on the snes version if you're saying these are arcade with a snes version on them LMAO. Real Deal here.
@@TwistedGamingTV I know this is the arcade version bro, I'm a big fan of KI. I haven't found what I look for I'll keep searching it lol . Some people will think that I'm crazy but, I remember I went to a shop and they had the KI game (in an arcade machine) with exactly the snes Killer Instinct main menu on it.
@@kirkrammsy that was a modded machine. These are the real arcade Killer Instinct machines they probably had something modified which is pretty stupid to have a snes game running on a arcade killer instinct.

Yes but they can be switched to quarters by a push of a button.
I wish the re-releases on Xbox had gone untouched. They butchered the original characters and added dumb new ones. They should have just left it alone and re-released it just like it was on the original arcade.
