Just look at her first game, I get that they really prepare a gameplan against her to put her in place for daring to come to their league and be much more popular then all of them combined. I started watching CC when my local cable channel here in N. Michigan broadcast the U. of Iowa games. I loved CC and her team mates and was impressed at the basketball skills. Coupled with stories about each of them I felt like this was such a lovable team I had to watch all the games. Now I eagerly await seeing CC at her home opener in Indy...GO FEVER !

Her fans want her as the Fever's leading scorer, but they forget that the team has a certain Lou Samuelson who in college shot almost 43% from 3-point range, a figure that Clark only saw with binoculars, But Clark builds an audience, sells tickets, so everything else takes second place, and we only talk about the 20 pts, leaving out the 10 turnovers, because those don't sell tickets

The bottom line is that Caitlin is a rookie and it’s going to take her time to learn and develop. I’m watching the game now and they’re actually playing better without Caitlin right now. Part of it is because Caitlin is hounded whenever she gets the ball, which is not her fault, but I can see a difference in the game.

The biggest question is going to be when will the WNBA decide to respect her game. If a sophomore player can lock her up then maybe it's a good idea to respect her game and put your fast defender on her.

Caitlan Clark never said she would just fit into the WNBA or she would be perfect neither did Angel Reese they just come out and play every night whether it is in College or now in the pros. They will learn in practice and in every game they play. Everyone is making a it personal thing with them. If a commentator has a opinion it is their opinion not that of the player. Angel has not come out and said anything about race being anything to do with CC popularity they have played each other they respect each other they will play each other again soon and it will be one of the highest watched games this year if not the highest. This is a big opportunity for basketball and women's sports in general, because these two and the other rookies this year will make it about the game and the fans and not any agendas or there lives off the court. The Fever are underperforming and that is coaches, management, and team play dependent.
