Peter`s Spares X03 Replacement In an old Triang 0-6-0....Wow

Servicing a non running Triang loco for my Uncle, i install a new Peter`s Spares X03 replacement, wow its very good and gives the engine a lot more power. Watch and see how i can get on, this was a frustrating day to get to the end but it was all worth it to see the smile on my Uncles face when he put both the trains on his layout.

I thought your Uncle Jed would be well chuffed with that 0-6-0 Paul. For an old Tri-ang model it looks really well now. As for the hunting, it might run in a bit over time, but it's fine really for what it is. Might it run a bit slower if you fitted a resistor? The LMS 3F looks like it might be H0 gauge, but who knows? Glad you found a home for it any way...

Yes mate, been full of cold for over 2 weeks. The hunting is really only noticeable at slower speeds, when my Uncle had it on its layout it ran very very well, Uncles happy so i am too. Got a tired looking 0-4-0 on its way for Uncle to attach to his coal wagons, but that will get done between the Scotsman project. Thanks for the comment mate, appreciate people getting involved.
