What made this song one of the best freestyle songs ever was the fact that he went Bi-lingual including English and Spanish Latinos and the beat and melody was distinguishable from all of the copy cat stuff that was going on and last but not least, the deep masculine voice, not trying to scream high pitch like so many male freestyle artists were doing at the time. He kept the voice and the topic unapologetically masculine, and there was nothing wrong with that.
