Always knew Seinfeld was funny but just stared watching it. Holy moly I didn’t realize it was that funny lol. I was expecting a normal sitcom, but Seinfeld was like nothing else at that time.
As a new fan, it might be the funniest show I’ve watched. Makes since why it was so massive when it was running. It was ahead of it’s time. It’s crazy seeing how much it influenced modern comedy. Especially it’s always Sunny in Philadelphia. That’s like Seinfeld times 100.
"The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet" was THE original "show about nothing". Ozzie Nelson called it that in a radio interview from 1952 at a Palm Springs radio station.
Actually it was about something as Jerry said its about people and the social gaps and awkwardness of that. Just because it's not blantant and there is gags doesnt mean it's not about something, It's about people and characters. Like a Woody Allen film as someone mentioned in the video.
I have heard it said that as we watch Lucy 50 years after it was originally on TV, we will in 2050 still be watching Seinfeld which is the BEST sitcom EVER! Foibles of four losers who are not bums but yuppy types.
Lol that is so fucking ironic that Michael Richards (Kramer) would comment on larry david getting upset with the audience, like talk about a hypocrite,
I will continue to watch Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm forever. I'm 87 years old ..so forever may be pretty soon!

hello from 9 years later...you still going strong gramps?
Just finished my first Seinfeld binge, now I'm gonna watch Curb. Is it similar?
@@clarkgriswold4057 no it's much more edgy Seinfeld is much more childish
@@clarkgriswold4057 and his wife has no script it's pretty interesting
Something really magic happened with this show. Best ever, at least in my generation.

Brilliant comedy, never gets old! The writing, actors, chemistry, acting, it was all perfect and worked together so well!
"Because it is on tv", that is the truest argument ever
It _was_
The premise of the pilot rings so true. The woman neglects to say if she's involved in order to get a free room in New York.
What you created is just beautiful.
hahaha i love it when larry justifies his actions, however small they are, he justifies them for soo long haha and thats how he actually is haha
Bob Balaban is actually a super-intelligent alien posing (not always convincingly) as a human.

I would love to see Jason Alexander's audition tape. He was so sure it was terrible, and Jerry and Larry loved it so much. Really intriguing.
That Woody Allen impression was hilarious.

just cant imagine any of the characters played by anyone else
the interaction between 5:50 and 6:25 is the best.
Larry Davids reason for not playing George is so George
This in 500 years will be pure magic
I wonder how much that original draft, for the Seinfeld pilot, would go for in an auction.
so george is larry
nbc guy with the blue shirt - high talker inspiration? lol
0:37 hmmmm...
great awesome....why would anybody skip this video?
thanks for the upload!!
3:36 "I remember ending the meeting I'm a robot"
Yeah that was hilarious!

That woman has no face!
@JusBlazeDR He just said what happened, dummy, it's not hypocritical to recall events
wow what an act ! LMAO
Lol that is so fucking ironic that Michael Richards (Kramer) would comment on larry david getting upset with the audience, like talk about a hypocrite,
Aaah, god bless America, eh?
Freedom of speech... unless it's a naughty word. Ridiculous.
