Yes. Though it didn't follow him exactly, it still a lot of cool elements from the comics.
Nathan Canada I think he usually leaves cartoon to comic adaptions out. Since they are rarely mainstream. Unless a comic that is already going adapts elements then he usually will mention it.

Most DC characters had a long, deep, involved, and developed history. Too bad New 52 flushed it all down the toilet...

I think Arsenal is way cooler than Green Arrow, I still think Green Arrow is awesome but Roy is better in my opinion.

Not really it would be more like that if he was on meth instead of heroin.
I feel like Arsenal's depiction as the "American mid western" take on the classic robin hood idea is the perfect way to go forward with his character, with him being more militant, compared to the better trained, more specialised hero that green arrow is.
If Green arrow is the classic, trickster thief depiction of robin hood, Arsenal is the well armed, revolutionary cousin of robin hood.
Wow Roy has had a rough life.
Roy is a sidekick. But he could have his own liveaction mini series. His origin is crazy.
What we really need is a history of the Batmobile episode! Not just appearance but an overview of what they've been capable of over the years. Now that would be tasty!

I really like the versions of Roy Harper from Young Justice
This is quite a history of Arsenal first Who was known Speedy and now known as Arsenal and even in between as Red Arrow.
Damn, in the young justice tv show, there are 2 roys. The original one, who has been kept in a tube by Cadmus for 8 years since he became green arrow's sidekick, they had to take his right arm to create a clone. Which the clone roy, who became Red arrow. After 3 years finds out he's a clone and sets off to find the original roy. Which he finds him and explains everything, the original roy, is mad a green arrow, because he gave up the search and didn't notice he was training clone. The original roy goes out to find lex luthor cause it's his fault, he almost kills luthor, but he got trapped, by lasers point all at him. So lex luthor said if it's a hand your wanting, then hands him a hella cool bionic new techa arm. Then after original roy meets up with red arrow and green arrow, the original roy says he will be arsenal. Like damn tv shows stories are different from the comics
Roy has always been one of my favorites! loved the video! really wish the "Arrow" TV show would have done his character some justice.
You peaked my curiosity with Killer Croc somehow being Roy's sponsor in his 12 step program. I am unfamiliar with sponsors, especially rehabilitation sponsors. In my mind, this type of sponsor is either keeping an eye on the person, who can say "yes, they're staying strong, the program's going great" or "no, they're constantly tempted and could break at any point". Or, they're that person the recovering person contacts to keep them updated on how the program's going and to talk to when they're feeling tempted. Either of these, I can't imagine Killer Croc doing. I immediately think of one joke in the Simpsons where the lawyer Lionel Hutts is tempted by alcohol and makes a phone call telling someone, who I'm assuming would be his rehab sponsor, that he's tempted and the sponsor says "Just remember to stay strong, and know that I love you." So now I'm imagining that being Roy and Killer Croc.

This was neat. I just starting to get into reading comics and Red Hood and the Outlaws is one that I have actually read. So it was nice to know some stuff this time around.
I know this is coming almost to be a year old but a buddy of mine has me building an Arsenal suit so I like to thank you for the information! If you all want to see this when finished I'll gladly show you.

You should do the history of yourself/ comic related stuff about yourself( favorite character,book,movie,etc). If you went to school, what for, future plans/goals in life
DC should really do an animated Red Arrow/Arsenal movie, inspired by the Young Justice TV Series but more faithful to the comics. It's so tragic and intriguing that, if done correctly and with respect, could even rival with Batman: Under the Red Hood. Now who wouldn't want to see that?

I Love that Roy Harper is basiclly a Heroic Taskmaster but Armed or equipped with Assasult Rifles, shotguns, Submachine Guns, Grenade Launchers, and RPG-rocket launchers

Colton Haynes is a cool dude. We worked on an abc show called the Gates as werewolves but unfortunately the show was cancelled. He did this crazy stunt with assistance from a crane haha

Barry does know Wally West, Wally is Barry's side kick, of course Iris West knows Wally West is The Kid Flash too cause It was Barry who gave Wally his speed abilities caused he looked up to Barry, Barry was the first to know Wally was Kid Flash while Iris was probably the second...
Who you guys are thinking of is Bart Allen, hes Barry's grand son. Barry had twins with Iris and never got the chance to meet them, he died. He had a statue in honor of his heroism and they had a day known as "The Day Of The Flash" (or something like that) and on that day the twins had received Barry's abilities but only for that day.
One of the twins has a son and names him Bart Allen. Bart goes back in time to meet the hero aka his grand father "Barry Allen" as Impulse, now he had made appearance in Smallville Tv show by the CW. And in that universe, the show never introduces Barry or Wally but they are simply Identities that Bart had used to go under. Jay Garrick had a references when they had referred back to the "Justice Society Of America".
Which on the side note, Jay Garrick was real in Barry's time frame just old, he meets Barry and Iris in one issue with his wife. Barry as a kid collected Jay Garrick comics aka The First Flash (which is where Barry got "The Flash" name from)... So to him, meeting Jay Garrick in person was like meeting his hero or role model, just like it was for Impulse meeting Barry Allen as The Flash.
could you do a history of episode of 'vision' from marvel, as he was featured in the 3rd teaser trailer for age of ultron, and just bring everyone up to speed before next month?

I don't know if she is connected to Flash outside of the cartoons (and then it's indirect). But I think it would be a great way to talk about A.R.G.U.S., The Agency/Checkmate, The Suicide Squad and Cadmus.
Young Justice has several things I've noticed that have come from the comics. I love it! What would be cool is to get Batwing out there!

I really wish his Navajo nationality is brought up more. It is such an interesting addition to his character that isn't brought up as much as it should be.
I honestly loved the Young Justice (TV series) take, were a clone of Roy with a genetic-defect of an arm became the Arsenal after Lex gave him the all-in-one robotic weapon arm... though a may be crossing wires here since I only watch the series once through and it's been a long time since I watched it.

Do an history of Sheluke, or her sis Artemis, or even Sportsmaster, all really awesome, and underrated comic book characters.... I only really grasped Sportsmaster's potential when viewing YJ: Invasion, really hate seeing awesome characters not being put in the spot light and being portrayed as underrated by not putting them out their or not giving them enough appearances in comic/and or shows

Demon Hunter It really doesn't matter what argument you make. I saw no arguments as to how Wonder Woman would bypass Juggernauts force field, since it took a Godblast from Thor at full power to bring it down in the past and that was after he was wailed on for awhile, and no response as to how she would get past his healing factor. These battles get pointless after awhile sadly....
