You probably know by now, but the cards / runes that have no merkstave, is that rune can't be reversed. It's the same shape no matter which way round you view. There is an amazing rune deck and it's from the same that did the heaven and earth tarot. Omg these cards are so informative and talks about two or more runes put together and what they mean. It's called Runik tarot and absolutely stunning deck front and back and the cards have it all to learn or use them.
