- Part Twelve - Woolbales to Mount Clare: So much change in so little time. Puddles, sand dunes, beaches and mountains! It's the last stretch to Woolbales where Caroline finally gets to splash about in puddles. Then it's down to the coast, crossing open dunes to the growing sounds of crashing waves to reach the ocean and walk the first of many beaches!
This series will show you what it’s like to thru-hike the 1002 km (623 mile) Bibbulmun Track in Western Australia. Watch the entire series as we release them here: • The Bibbulmun Track Se...

These are the CZcams highlight of my week. I'm so sad to think it's almost over as that distance ticks ever downwards!
Thank you Mike. Appreciate that you're enjoying the series. Unfortunately, that was the last one for the next few weeks as we edit the rest to the finish line. But the wait won't be as long as before. After that we're hoping to keep making more. Last year we had some great walks planned but all had to be cancelled. We've already done the Hume and Hovell in NSW and will try and get that up, too.
@@GreatWalksoftheWorld Thanks for letting me know. I hope it won’t be too long until we get to see the next episode, but I appreciate how long it takes to edit, grade and add music to all the clips. Looking forward to seeing your new adventures, too!
@@GreatWalksoftheWorld Hi Caroline. Hows the editing going? We have been checking every Sunday for a new episode as we plan to hike the Bibbulman this July/August
Thanks so much for this. The series is bringing back so many great memories of when my now wife and I did the walk back in 1998 and I'm really enjoying it. The day we walked out of Woolbales and caught our first glimpse of the roaring Southern Ocean was perhaps one of the best days on the walk. After four weeks of forests and hills, as nice as it was, we were happy to see such different scenery.
We never tired however of the sounds of birds calling and hearing the black cockatoos (Carnaby's cockatoos) in the background in this clip made me smile.
Great chapter. just love this
Really enjoying the series. Great Photography!
Excellent :)
Just fiddling with my new Spot gen 4 GPS and this popped up! Looking forward to doing the Bibbulmun this year 👌🏻
I did Woolbales to Mt Clare in one day, the hardest and worst day I had on the Bibbulmun.
Really enjoying the videos thanks. Hoping to do this in sept.
Love watching your journey. My 4 year old keeps asking if we can watch the adventure lady
Thanks Brent. And that's really sweet. :) Sadly we won't be posting any episodes for the next few weeks as we catch up, but we'll get the rest online as soon as we can.
So cute! I hope your kid does this walk one day :)
@@CarolineThomsen me to I’m planning to do it in July - Aug this year with my dad. Maybe I’ll get to do it with him one day too
Thanks for the journey :)
Hey Caroline been really missing your videos. I check every week. No pressure of course. But would love to see more soon.
That hill up Mt claire was killer i remember
You would have smashed it.
Well filmed Steve. By the way, I wonder how your tummy was feeling at this stage?
Thanks Jerry. Not good, tbh. The stress of hiking and walking so soon after surgery was taking it's toll. There's some drama coming later about that ;)
The vids are excellent. Have enjoyed every moment. I have gotten to vid 12. Are there any more after that and if so, where can I locate them. Once again, loved the vids. Well done
How long till the next in the series please ... they are awesome by the way
We hope to have ep 13 up this coming weekend so pls check in sat night.
Great Video, what time of the year did you start this Hike?
Thank you. We walked mid Sept to mid Nov 2019
Nice! Are you planning any new hikes this year? Cheers from Perth 😁
Covid has made things difficult, and we had to cancel a few walks last year. Hopefully we can go ahead with our plan to film the South Coast Track, but have a few backup walks in mind.
How were the flies
is your bag a 70 L.. Loving the journey
It’s a 60-65L!
28:27 emergency SSB?
It's a Garmin 64SX GPS for recording the trip.
@@GreatWalksoftheWorld I meant the bottle of wine :D
@@refinedimages2869 that was a birthday gift from a trail angel! We had to carry it out empty :)
