Galaxy A52 is a massive hit from Samsung
Seems poor value at the retail price. Need to wait until it inevitably crashes in price and then it may be worth considering? It will sell well due to the hardcore Samsung fanbase that will buy whatever. For me, this is missing major features that I look for so is a hard buy (no 5g or top SoC).
@@wakandaforever5732 not for sale in the UK so you have to import and that means 20% VAT so becomes too expensive.
@@andyH_England I surely think it’s more than that, The A52 5G here is actually cheaper than the last gen A51 5G by £30, Id say this is Samsung up to it’s tricks again, trying to push 5G and subsequently not having a 4G version in the UK will ultimately mean it wouldn’t be cutting into sales of the on sale 5G variant.
Samsung are crafty and people shouldn’t be fooled by it.

@@frankreynolds9930 No, indeed, more due to price and closed systems. As we move down the price spectrum demand rises, so we would expect that the A51 would sell a lot better than the hardcore superfan S20 series. Though it still fell behind the iPhone sales. The closed system of, say the US market, where consumers are prevented from getting cheap high-spec phones means they have little choice other than buying the A51. In Europe and Asia, we have many more phones in that price range, so the A51 did not sell as well as certain restricted markets.

Thanks a lot for this clear review! I just got an attractive deal on this phone from my local retailer and, as I'm not not going for the flagships, I'm convinced it will be a great and appropriate upgrade from my aged Samsung A8.

I will never understand why they take out the 3.5mm jack port. Wired audio is and always will be objectively better.
I agree, manufacturers used to remove it for water proofing and it just kind of stuck. But phones without headphone jacks are usually flagships so i think its about status as well

The Camera processing has improved quite a lot after the recent upgrade. And I hope Samsung continues to do so with it.
How's the battery life?
They should add eis on 4k it would be a big help since eis relies on software than hardware

I bought this phone recently and I love it so much... my little concern is about the camera... when using the super steady mode for video shooting in a room, it's not pretty clear... if Samsung can do something about it on the next update.. thanks

the sd720 is too weak to support constant 90hz so the difference in battery is irrelevant

One UI is so much better than MIUI, talking out of experience. I would recommend this over Xiami if yu Interested in Camera and a smooth experience.

If you're choosing in August or later, definitely get the A52s, it has a much more powerful processor (everything else is the same).

Notification history is amazing.. so glad they implemented that, with the Pixel lineup starting the feature.
The blue color version, is off course awesome.
Using it right now. It's wonderful, use pro mode and try some incredible astrophotography. It's a solid device, hope Samsung patches the Night mode in updates. Auto mode is better at times but yes, this phone takes amazing low light images. HDR. It's all about the HDR and this wins. Wins wins wins. Also so glad Samsung's oversaturation habit is not here

This for longterm use and better cameras also waterproofing, redmi for a bigger battery and a better processor worse optimization though.

I have owned several Flagship phones and I presently have a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G, so I know what it's like to use the best! However, I am sending this message from my Samsung A52 5g, and overall, I like it the best of any phone I ever held in my hands and used!
Today i got the security patch for may month and im on Android 13 with one ui 5.1 my a52 still running smoth one ui 5.1 makes me feel like i have a new phone thnx Samsung good work 👏

I just bought this phone, please tell me if you know how I can have my ringer on when I get a call, but sound and vibration off when I get a text or notification. So far if sound is on everything is on or if it's off everything is off. Thank you
I think this is the phone I'ma get. I don't feel like dropping a grand for a new phone but I want something with decent screen and battery life.
If you dont care about new updates, get an s10.

The critical point when I bought it, IP67.. the last IP67 phone I used was A7 2017 for 4 years.

Just one question: for camera filters, I have choose filters to keep. But after 1 or 2 days it returns back to original, not the filter that I applied. In the settings still is filters to keep.

I think I'm in love with this "A".. And I am not talking about the Samsung phone....
I replaced my iphone 11 with this phone, I got the 5G one and I have to say this phone is just as fast and the screen is amazing. The speaker get loud if you go into settings and adjust the eq and with a finger print scanner hack you can get that working really fast as well. Using this phone day to day feels like your using a much more expensive phone.
Sorry for bothering, how much does it take for the battery to die out with the daily usage, and do you recommend it?

I am using galaxy A52 and noticed that if you are viewing any content in the night on phone which has black image or scene the screen shows yellow tint instead of pitch black (amoled are known for this) issue is severe at the bottom part of screen, this issue is very visible on Always on display screen just set the AOD brightness in auto and check AOD in dark environment. I have galaxy m31s but it doesn't have this issue.

This phone's screen is great but I noticed when I'm on a black screen, the screen isn't totally black. It still has a slight amount of white color in it. I don't know if I'm the only one noticing this.

Apart from the processor everything is the same no? Cameras, screen refresh rate etc and the performance different is around 15%

Only downside with 5g is battery life is not as good by at least 1 hour?
Why in the video its showing EIS ? This camera having OIS . In the spec also u didn't mentioned about its OIS ? This time both A52 and A72 having OIS in the main camera.
My A72 has OIS on the 3X telephoto lens too.
EIS and OIS coexist just fine. Most of stabilisation in videos where you're moving comes from EIS.
OIS in phones is for taking stills (to help with hand shake), it doesn't have range of movement to properly stabilize videos with camera moving on its own.

I got my Samsung A52 LTE in Awesome Violet..the store doesnt want to gv less price unless if i want to get the black or white colour only..i went to 5 store to get this colour. Free casing, earphone n tempered glass. In love with this phone
