Jolin Tsai is a Taiwanese singer. Her music and MV are the most exquisite and beautiful. Her live singing ability is very good. The song Womxnly is a true sad story. She also sang "We're All" for marriage equality Different, Yet The Same", would like to recommend you "2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards MAMA", Jolin performed "Play".

And the song name womxnly, it’s pronoun as womenly.
As the word ‘women’ contain ‘men’. Some people think that is a bias toward women, so they change the ‘e’ into ‘x’ to show respect toward women.

This song is heartbreaking, yet full of courage. If you have an opportunity to understand its background and impact, you'll realize how powerful it is. Documentary: czcams.com/video/V_M9ZId2QAY/video.html
Jolin Tsai is a Taiwanese singer who sings in Chinese. She is loved and repected not only because of her talent in singing and dancing, but also her concern for the disadvantaged. In China, this song was sang by other singers with "revised lyrics". In Taiwan, however, this song won "The Golden Melody Award for Song of the Year" in 2019 for the strong message it delivered and the encouragement for the LGBT movements. In the year the song was released, Taiwan also became the first country in Asia to legalize same-sex marriage.

The "x" in "womxnly" is not for "artistic value":
"Womxn is an intersectional term intended to signal the inclusion of those who have traditionally been excluded from white feminist discourse: Black women, women of color, and trans women. More recently, the term has also been used to include nonbinary people."
The story behind this song, as many may have picked up both from the name and the lyric, is about transgenders, and it's specifically about a 15 year old child, Yeh Yung-chih, who suffered from bullying due to Yeh's feminine traits, who allegedly slipped and was found dead from head injury in the washroom during class time due to his fear of going to washroom during recess because others would harass and mock him in the washroom.

lol what? the first part is totally off.
its simply x bcos every female word depends on the male term, the patraichy.
womxnly removes the "man", a symbol of generations of toxic patriachy n replace it to be x. x is known to be referred as female chomosome. you can be however womxnly(feminine) u want(ref ye yong zhi). there is not black/white race shit in taiwan. lol......
