(of course I needed to rewatch this video) I ended up getting it in a darker color because of fear of color transfer. I also wanted to share with you another way of using the bag. Leave the leather strap below the bag, wrapped around it and pull the chain (the chain coming through the holes of the bag). This way you have another version or a one strap shoulder bag!!! :) Hope I explained myself. Best! Fern

Love this bag!!! Great review! I'm really debating between this or a Boy for my birthday. I was talking to my SA a few weeks ago and she said the lining is real suede not microfiber! And a seasonal color like you said. Not the Rose poudre. Dior is doing some great bags! The suede lining is tipping Dior a bit more to me than the Boy. I just got my Jumbo a couple of weeks ago. It is the perfect classic. You will love having that in your collection too!💗

The other pale pink Diorama bag is called rose poudre because it has a very pale pink undertone. The color of your bag is Pink Power or Pink Powder because it's a darker,richer shade of pink.😍When I see your beautiful bag and I think of the color, I think of pink with like a punch of power behind it!!😉It's so bright and vivid, like it's got a special "oomph" to it!👊🏻💖 I hope that makes sense!!😜Either way, It's a gorgeous bag and it looks fabulous on you!! 😘 👜💖🌸💕

The boy is more casual and bad girl ish. And jumbos are more ladylike. This Dior is a combination of both but the pink makes it more girly. So I don't blame you girl!
Great review Shea! I'm loving the Diorama and I wish I got it while in London in March, but at the time I wasn't able to choose between the Chanel reissue (which was my planned purchase) and this. Two quite different bags but I love them both. Btw I own a Chanel mini and the Jumbo and I totally get you! Because you own the Diorama, that kind of resembles the Boy I would suggest you get the Jumbo. I love it so much, it's my favorite bag and I will keep it in my collection forever. The Diorama looks so good on you and I love the combination you got. That shade of pink and rose gold is absolutely beautiful. Keep up the great work hun! xx

I have a Chanel jumbo and a maxi. I do like the jumbo size, but the maxi is huge, and I don’t carry either very much. I always grab a medium or large lady instead. I really enjoyed this video and I love your bag, it's so elegant. Wanting to get the jumbo isn't silly at all, it makes perfect sense. Your little lambskin Chanel and the diorama are both fairly dressy. I find with the jumbo, at least the one in caviar leather, is more casual. It goes from smart casual to daytime dressy with ease, but I wouldn't take it out at night unless it was a fairly casual evening. So if you get a jumbo then you have all situations covered with a super classy, classic bag of some type. Thanks for giving the measurements in centimetres. I got an instant mental picture instead of having to write it down in inches then run for the tape measure and do conversions. I always think it's interesting how the measurements of bags made by European designers sound like mumbo jumbo in inches ( eg, 7.5 x 4.75 x 3.25. Try remembering that without writing it down)but make perfect sense in centimetres. eg, your diorama, 25 x 15x 8, or the Chanel Jumbo, 30 x 20 x 10.
This colour is truly SO beautiful and you wear it so well, how is it with colour transfer? I love this shade of pink, but am not sure it would be redundant after my recent buys - perhaps it comes in the Diorever! You DEFINITELY need the Chanel Jumbo, it's the icing on the cake of flap bags, I totally hear you. I wish I knew a re-seller like yours that finds pristine pieces, because I want to get more into the pre-loved market & would have totally gone for my Jumbo that way since they hold up so well!

Hi Whitney - I have the Chanel Boy & I don't care for it. It's probably the worse purchase of all my bags. It's limited as to what I can get in the bag - I do wear shades & my case doesn't fit with my reading glasses. If you're serious about the Boy go to the Chanel store with your typical carry items to make sure they fit. PS I have the older Medium Boy bag - the new medium is slightly larger.

I agree with you, it is such a beautiful and functional bag! Amazing quality, totally worth the price. Rose poudre does mean powder pink, so maybe yours is a different name? I think it should have the name of the color on the tag if you still have it.....

Just wondering. You mentioned that the bottom is shaped like "pages of a book" so it is not flat. Do you think that the part would soften and flop in the long run like how the sides of a Chanel bag does overtime? Or is it solid at the bottom? Hope that made sense.

Yes!! But they're actually 2 different colors! I confirmed with the SA at Dior. Pink Powder will only be available for Summer 2017. Than you sooo much!

I hope they still have this color when I am in Europe in August 😊 This is by far the nicest color I've seen! Did you see the WOC version? I may pick it up in this color if it exists. I would like something smaller that I could use as a clutch.
Yes...it really is a GREAT color!!! I don't think they had it in the WOC version though. I'm pretty sure I only saw it in this bag and the Lady Dior bag. But perhaps in a different boutique! :) XOXO
Hi Whitney - I have the Chanel Boy & I don't care for it. It's probably the worse purchase of all my bags. It's limited as to what I can get in the bag - I do wear shades & my case doesn't fit with my reading glasses. If you're serious about the Boy go to the Chanel store with your typical carry items to make sure they fit. PS I have the older Medium Boy bag - the new medium is slightly larger.

Great video!! I ended up getting a Diorama in silver grained calfskin with champagne hardware right after I watched the unboxing of yours...I'm so glad I did! I agree with you, it is such a beautiful and functional bag! Amazing quality, totally worth the price. Rose poudre does mean powder pink, so maybe yours is a different name? I think it should have the name of the color on the tag if you still have it.....

I just saw a photo of one on the purse forum that looks like your color, and they called it "powder beige".

Just wondering. You mentioned that the bottom is shaped like "pages of a book" so it is not flat. Do you think that the part would soften and flop in the long run like how the sides of a Chanel bag does overtime? Or is it solid at the bottom? Hope that made sense.
