If Pochita's power affected her by eating her, than Nayuta would not exist because the concept of control would disappear.
I only showing he eating makima and Pochita eating devils ability, I'm not even trying to explained to them why and I make them somehow get the idea themself, heck I doubt denji remember all the explanation from the scar face guy (I forgot his name, he's dope)
