Mastering Digital Life in Chinese! (March)

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my channel and to the this month's episode of "Words of the Month," a new podcast-style series of mine designed to enrich your Chinese vocabulary, particularly helpful for students taking or planning to take the HSK (漢語水平考試).
Each month, I'll share five words I find intriguing or practical, providing their meanings, usage, and examples in sentences. I’ll present the vocabulary in both Mandarin and Cantonese, complete with Pinyin and Jyutping transliterations, so you can enhance your skills in either or both languages, as well as hone your pronunciation.
Today's topic: Digital Life (數碼生活)
In the context of the HSK exams, the theme of Digital Life (數碼生活) encompasses a range of vocabulary that reflects the integration of technology into everyday life. While the HSK syllabus covers a broad spectrum of topics from everyday activities to cultural and societal aspects, the inclusion of terms related to digital life speaks to the relevance and applicability of the Chinese language in modern contexts.

A quick note: I utilise traditional Chinese characters in my videos. For Cantonese examples, I wrote them using the spoken form, which accounts for the variance in sentence structure compared to standard written Chinese (the Mandarin examples). For learners of Cantonese, it is important to note that spoken Cantonese greatly differs from standard, written Chinese.
