Well said my dear...well said. I think it's a generational thing. younger women in their twenties and thirties just feel the need to slam other women. It's all about the looks and the material things. I'm so glad I was born when I was when what the person was like was far more important than their cars or who drove them or who made their clothes. Remember those days? We liked the song yet we didn't know about the artist. We didn't know who they slept with or overdosed with. We just knew who they were through their music or their acting when we didn't have to hear about their private lives. Lisa Bonet exemplifies that. Lisa is actually very outspoken & opinionated as a person but when she was young they used to ask her inappropriate questions or interrupt or talk over her & she didn’t have much work to talk about after the Cosby show & the questions had to changed to personal & painful ones so she has given up trying. Some questions they used to ask her were quite triggering so she has withdrawn & doesn’t volunteer. She’d rather just get through it quietly with minimal interaction. She allows Jason to shine.

It's the wrong mix. It's so obvious. They're not into the whole stuff that comes with fame (staged pictures, press, interviews...). This interviewer opposite people like them (grounded, humble, living a fairly subversive lifestyle) was the perfect example of our entertainment industry and numbless public consumption we take in far too often and easily.
