I started on another journal from this series of yours. I have loved being able to take a little bag of things with me to art journal while waiting at Dr appointments, or even on food at a restaurant! I hope you do this series again. I imagine the editing is very time consuming for a 1 minute video. Just know they are very much loved!

Hi, Vicky! Thanks for doing the flip through of your completed mini collage art journal… I especially enjoyed seeing what you did on those last few pages. I’ve actually created 35 pages so far with about 18 to go on my pocket Moleskin notebook that I had removed some of the pages in to compensate for the bulk of the ephemera, etc. I’ll plan on using the sketchbook with slightly heavier pages for my next mini journal… and… I’m even planning on doing one slightly larger (maybe 5x8) … thanks for sharing your creativity and have a wonderful weekend! 🙂
I will be posting new pages but I think only on instagram... the short videos here messed up my feed and people thought I wasn't posting long art journal videos any more... got so many comments about it although I was posting on Tuesdays just like always. The youtube algorithm drives me crazy sometimes. I think I will go with the shorts on instagram and post here a flip through once in a while like today.

I have loved watching your mini journal series! I made a mini journal for myself and completely filled it with layouts and I had a wonderful time creating it! I loved this series and it inspired me to create my own mini collage journal. It was so much fun. Are you planning to put anything on the empty backsides of the pages or leave them blank or maybe another collage jourmal? 👍🏾❤
This is finished and I like it this way, only one project on every flip of a page so they do not compete next to each other 😂 I have already started a new one but I am sharing those mini videos on my Instagram. Short videos here messed up my feed with people complaining that I only post short and not my regular long art journaling… which I never stopped posting…. that CZcams algorithm drives me crazy. Anyway I will post a flip through here when the new one is finished.
@@vickyp Yes, I'm doing mine that way too. The pages became very bulky as well so even now it's hard to close. I'm glad you're starting another one. I can't believe there were complaints about your collage videos being too short,especially since you posted other longer videos along with them. 😕

when I have watched you do your mini art journals, you seem to just pull the first images or sayings off the top of the pile, but I am sure that you have taken time to match them up and then put them back in the box as you want them for the purpose of saving time. Am I right or is this a very random process for you ?
Oh you are so right! The videos had to be up to 1 min long as I was posting them on instagram. So I did all the prep off camera to eliminate browsing through to find the perfect match.
My first-ever criticism, Vicky. Could you zoom in closer so we can get a larger, clearer view of the journal? I can normally watch your videos on my phone, but i couldn't even tell what I was looking at.

I wasn’t clear. The images in the video are too small. I cast from my tablet to our tv. I do that because watching on the tablet hurts my eyes. If the focal image is small on the tv (like your journal), I can’t see it without eye strain. It’s frustrating. There is a channel I like very much, but can’t watch anymore because the pages she makes seem roughly 1/6 of the screen. I actually have watched several of your quick journal pages. I saw them easily. In fact, I can always see your videos easily, and I do appreciate that. People with vision problems want to watch YT videos. I do. There just has to be some consideration re disabilities. Thank you for responding to me. That was very nice of you. I love your videos.
