Keith Green stands in glory right now and has seen the face of Jesus. I hope his wife and surviving daughters are walking in his footsteps. His life was shortlived but he accomplished God's purpose for his life just like Nabeel Qureshi. May we all finish well

I was saved in 1980. Saw Keith in concert as my first "Christian" concert. Did not disappoint. His music and ministry basically mentored me as a new believer. I miss him a lot. Play on in heaven brother!

After Jesus resurrects him, only then will Keith play/sing in haven. In the meantime, all dead are in their graves until Jesus comes.
I didn't see him in concert, but our college church group played his songs heavily back in the late 70's. His music is inspired, and looking back, I see that it mightily shaped our devotion to Christ in our early years as Christians.

Right after his death in the plane accident I listened to this song. Till this day I remember the emotion I felt when the words "When I stand in Glory I will see His face" Knowing that now he is standing in Glory. Over 40 years later and that is still a pivotal moment in my faith.

I am. Right after I was saved in early 1978 was when so many genuine Christian entertainers came to light. Honeytree, Dave Boyer, 2nd Chapter of Acts. But Keith Green is still my favorite, and his passing was truly tragic, but his music will live on forever. I even had one of his albums converted to MP-3 and put on my cell phone.

Keith Green was one of the most influential adults to look up to growing up. Hearing his voice and music brings me right back to the tender child's heart with my God. So thankful he heard his personal call and fulfilled it at that. Still, he is making such a positive difference. 🧡

He was and is a very special man, God's Spirit was in him in such as way I wish I had that anointing. What a great voice, and song writing ability, only from God could anyone have such an affect on us. I can remember listening to his music, through tapes so many years ago. Late into the night because I couldn't get enough of his singing and God's presents.
Woke up this morning thinking of Keith and all of the songs I basically grew up with as a new believer in the 70's and 80's. While listening to my contemporary Christian music suddenly his name appeared in front of me, and I'm back listening to him again! He always sang from his heart and was such an inspiration. God took him but not before he used his music to touch my generation!
a friend gave me this cassette when I was a young Christian in the 70s. I played this so much I wore out the cassette. it was years before I found "songs for the shepherd" on cd. KGs songs still minster to me today! what a voice - such anointing!

This brings tears to my eyes and causes me to weep, in Jesus name! I know he is at peace with The Father, Holy Spirit and Jesus His son.

Recommitted my life to Jesus Christ as I saw Keith Green perform this live in Summer 1982 at the San Diego Sports Arena concert !
Many of us responded to the strong Gospel call to repent of Sin & be filled & commissioned for God's work in our lives & families & communities.
This was now 42 years ago - I was 18 & a Senior in High School, now I'm 60.
My lovely late wife Sheri, of 32 years, was also there & lived out her love for Jesus & for me and our 5 children with passion & verve that was Divinely empowered !
None of us knew Keith was going home to Heaven about a year later in Summer 1983 in a plane crash tragedy near Lindale (Tyler) Texas.
We were devastated & shocked that God would take such a gifted & talented Singing minister away from us - but ours is not to reason why, but submit to God's Higher Ways, as High above us as are the Heavens !
My wife remained until her 56th year in 2021 - when Cancer was used of God to call her home to GLORY.
I wonder who all she has met in her Heavenly abode - someday I'll join her but meantime I'm singing God's praises.
Our Choir is singing this familiar song this Sunday and I may be one of the few (85 person Choir) who saw Keith Green perform this live.

I too, lost my wife way too soon she was 35 when she passed (2021).
So sorry for the death of your dear wife! Keep holding on to Jesus remembering that He defeated death on the cross. Blessed are they which die in Christ for over such, the second death has no power. God bless and keep you, Sir!

My brother David introduced me to Keith & Melody Green while he was at Bible College. Soo good. We use to sing his one particular song in church but now things have changed. So sad..

My always faithful sister suffered and died from cancer on Valentine’s Day this past year. She had me hooked on Keith green as a child. I am 18 years younger than her. As I cared for her during her last days at home on hospice, I played this song by her bedside and sang along. I am struggling with my faith as I mentally process what I saw such a giving and faithful soul went through.

In the Book of Job you find a righteous man tested to the absolute limit. Bad times happen to us all. Your sister was "always faithful." She did was the Lord requires of His servants. She was obedient unto death. She persevered and endured to the last. At the last trumpet the dead in Christ shall rise. She has run her race and at the great and glorious resurrection of the dead she will be with the Lord forever. She would want you to be there too.
Fight the good fight faith. The disciples asked Jesus; "Lord increase our faith. " We can ask, seek and knock too. I hope this helps.

Sin destroyed our physical bodies in the fall.. this science makes dying a sting of death ... my dad died of cancer painful lung cancer. God gave us medicines drs prayer and the pain is fast . Some people have suffered years .
So remember it's the limitation of us mortals.
Remember your family member is now in heaven forever and ever in peace no pain..god is good
Also ur sister was suffering . If u look up early Christian theology even Paul said by our cross and sufferings we literally partake like Jesus in suffering for souls.its a ancient and held theology
So god helped her in her pain and do u realize how many souls her pain saved ... she was suffering for you and others.. Jesus honours are struggles prayers and suffering pain to convert millionsjesus saves but he uses us. I hope this helps you in ur struggles of thought.. god will show u and he will answer u when we get heaven.maybe by ur sibling suffering it drew more to her and saved more ppl

Keith Green was a true minister of music. These pathetic excuses today are nothing more than performers making huge profits off of the word of god. He used to offer his CDs and magazine for whatever you could afford. People would send in anywhere from a dollar to 1,000 for one of his albums. He never worried about making a profit is only goal was to spread the good news and the Holy Spirit. God Rest his precious soul

I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when it was announced over the radio (KBRT) that Keith had been killed in a plane crash-THAT’S how much of an impact that his worshipful music had on my life. I can’t wait to hear him singing in Heaven!

I never thought I’d listen to this kind of music for fun. My parents used to play this song a lot. But since my dad passed last year, these songs honestly bring me a lot of comfort. The nostalgia of driving to & from church or relaxing on sabbath afternoon/evening while the sound of old school southern country gospel, echoed gently throughout the house.
