- Kimi Raikkonen is one of the most unique and funny F1 drivers ever to race in the sport. Kimi was also wickedly fast and left his mark in Formula 1 and ever since his retirement, fans can't help but miss him. Kimi was known in his prime as being one of the fastest drivers ever, and somebody who never feared a risky overtake. His ability to make people laugh without even trying to, gave us iconic moments to remember for the ages. There will never be another Formula 1 driver like Kimi Raikkonen. Enjoy!

Max is a lite version of kimi right now. If he stays in the sport for long enough i could see him ending up like that....he takes no crap from reporters, says it as he feels.
No, there is no one like Kimi.
@@mjarmes 🤦 always one eh
On the surface it may seem like it. But max and Kimi are completely different in their mentalities and abilities.
Max is like everyone apparently
@@nevadatorres2865 lmao well they're both world champions. Both don't give 2 craps. Both enjoy racing outside of F1. Both have a young family so to speak.
Love the clip of the grid all weaving to warm up their tires, and Kimi is just driving straight on
There’s actually a reason he was doing that other than not wanting to weave to warm the tires. He was repeatedly going on and off the brakes to warm the tires that way instead. There’s videos of Lewis doing it as well; I just can’t remember where.
@@akafxde7245 Most likely Yelistener's channel, he did one on Lewis' different tyre-warming strategies in different situations in Baku, I believe.
And you're right, not exactly a "Kimi moment" per se, but seeing that clip when he's the *only* one doing it, as well as it specifically looking like he's not moving when others are just gave such a classic Kimi vibe XD
Kimi, while racing hard always left enough space for oher drivers. He never went for imaginary gaps or blamed others. That's something I very much respect. No BS with Kimi.
I feel like Max is in the beginning stages of being Kimi because his no sugarcoat bullshit attitude and vibes are in line with Kimi in the beginning I feel like
“If my mom had balls she would be my dad” is a kimi thing to say😂
“lol”
Kimi will always be the GOAT in my eyes. Lightning quick.
In my opinion Senna is only quicker than him from a raw speed point of view.
Kimi at McLaren was insanely quick. Definitely one of the quickest ever in F1. He was never again the same driver at Ferrari (for whatever reason). Maybe he lost his motivation a bit.
Without a doubt, Kimi is the end of an era. Maybe not the best, but definently always a contender.
Drinking 16 days is just warming up for Midsummer for Finns
The Ice Man! What a character, loved the fact he had absolutely no filter and was a great driver.
Just pure quality driver! He’s one of the best drivers who has spatial awareness while driving and keeps cool in any situation. I’m sure almost everyone agrees that his one championship doesn’t justify his talent.
He may lose two championship battles. But when he finally won it, he won it with style
He won the WDC in 2007, but what happened in 2008 (a lot of mechanical retirements and accidents -the one in Canada and Singapore) and in 2009 (in the second half he was totally good) and the early exit from Ferrari was a bit strange.
That's why Kimi in 2012-2013 with Lotus made so happy. He was awesome and proved he is that good!
kimi's lotus really shone through his racecraft. if lotus didnt have money issues, kimi would have had a shot at the 2012 WDC, even 2013 if possible. Look up his record during those seasons and you will be shocked by the sheer number of podiums he had!
Yes, I love Kimi Raikonnen ...
He just cold and doesn't gives a shit mentality ☝️
I love Kimi. After Mika retired he was my driver since I've always been a Mclaren fan. Even after he was racing for Ferrari, I still cheered for him.
for me it the real goat
forget the number forget the statistics
LOOK THE SPEED look the fun
no simulator no nothing sit in there and rip that car
forever KIMI
BWOAH
Kimi and Fernando, James Hunt. F1 will never be the same again, like rock-n-roll its just another business now.
I can see Oscar evolve into Kimi
No, he doesn't usually say everything he thinks like Kimi.
@@Warrioruk Of course not, but for me, Oscar probably still can be the friendly version of Kimi.
@@RadityaPramanaPutra2001 The only thing they got in common is that they're very calm persons that's it, apart from their talents of course.
@@Warrioruk You're right.
"Who drinks for 16 days straight between Grand Prix's"?
I do, and I drink when I'm watching them as well.
Raikkonen went from driving a villainous, lightweight, awesome-sounding McLaren Mercedes to ending his career in an overweight, oversized turbo hybrid V6. What a shame…
For any new F1 fans, look up “Michael Schumacher 2001 Suzuka Pole”. That’s how fast an F1 car should look & how awesome it should sound.
Bring back V10s. Bring back the real Formula One.
There will, And there is
Oscar Piastri
Oscar absolutely is. He's well trained by Mr. Webber 😎
Yes Kim the best ever. What a cool dude
Good old times i watch f1 since 2011 but i managed to watch Kimi Raikonen people will miss those times i would love to see f1 legends race at Monaco or Silverstone in a icon gp
he was pure and real, none of the utter bs humans are today with PC culture and so on
Why you bringing politics into a video about a driver. Shut up.
What's so wrong with being verbally considerate of and respectful towards others?
I'm not saying Kimi was disrespectful or inconsiderate,
I'm talking about your jab at "PC culture". Racism, transphobia, homophobia, ableism, islamophobia, and other forms of cruelty towards minorities being unacceptable makes the world a better, more inclusive place.
That's a *good* thing.
@@RexytheRexy wtf are you smoking dude lol.
Title alone tells me this is your best work yet brother.Bwoah.
Leave him alone! He know's what he's doing.
Love Kimi, he just was there to race, and that was it. Kept the sport honest, in a way. Max is similar in a way but -and this might sound dumb- Max is Dutch, Kimi a Fin and you can tell this by Max knowing more languages than Kimi facial expressions and probably words.
But I'd say I miss a guy like Mika Häkkinen even more. On the track it's hard to tell who was better in their prime but both were good to a point, where that doesn't really matter anymore, they both could beat anyone on their day. But of track Mika could be just like Kimi but he also had this childish side, where he after not having muscles in his face for an hour, he'd suddenly pulls of a really silly joke that no one but him gets.
And there is this interview where Mika talks about Kimi being his friend in this threatening way, which just has to be my all time favorite F1 interview.
I forgot who told the story... it was in some F1 publication... but probably some F1 press guy. He was in some kind of motorsport gala and met Kimi Raikkonen in the balcony. Kimi was drunk (what a surprise). They knew eachother already before this. The editor tried to chat with him but Kimi was just silent. Then suddenly he said "I hate F1" and went to the bar to get another drink. 😅
Kimi was a mixed bag. A ball of fire early in his career. And then he seemed to realize that he was paid to do a job and accepted that mentality. I had no hate for him doing that. It was a smart move. But the early Kimi kind of disappeared into the corporate F1 structure. Then he really hurt himself badly, during a rally event, while driving in rally off season. I mean Kimi really messed up his lower back. In ways he's never told anyone. I saw it in his lap times the season after he came back from that injury. It definitely impacted his performances ever since. But the sum total of Kimi, to me, is a guy who came in like a comet and flamed across the Formula One sky and did the best he could, as he saw fit. And that is why I will always respect Kimi Raikonnen. He did not give a damn what I thought, or what anyone else thought. Like the Frank Sinatra song, Kimi did it his way,. And it was entertaining as hell to watch happen . Thank you Kimi, for bringing the heat, every race, no matter what. You were awesome.
Kimi could have been multiple champion if he really put his mind into it. Unlike Senna, Prost, Schumacher Kimi always wanted to have a life outside of F1. He wasn't dedicated enough. But Ron Dennis said that Kimi was naturally the fastest guy he has ever seen. And this from a guy who had Senna, Prost, Hakkinen and Lauda in his team.
Facts were spoken
Kimi was the best... and you might agree to disagree but 2007 season was the best season of the past 20 years
Theres drivers without filters.
It's just most of the drivers without filters say dumb things
Don't compare Max to Kimi, he ain't even close, he is just full of papa Jos trauma.
Trust people to comment about Max in a video that has nothing to do with him. There's only ONE Kimi. There's no replication. Period. Iceman!
never say never.
03:17 "At least you have a light car then!" - said Brundle, but it's missing from the clip...
also, I believe if you put an "pld school" driver in a modern car, it'd be the same as now. Imagine Clark or Senna, JTNAF.. racing till retirement. I think there is a lot to appreciate now. You just can't compare then and now, but in many ways you can in the drivers if you can just see it. You got to take the old glasses off. I find it opens ny eyes.
KIIIIMMMIIIII COME BACK RACING
He´s got that drunk zen mindset of a finnish grandpa and that´s why he is maybe the most likable f1 driver ever
the fastest modern f1 driver.
100% He is always gonna be in the mix with even Fangio & Ayrton for me! ...oop forgot sm dumb...I mean his importance to me & my memories of F1 which span 65 yrs
Oscar Piastri will try though.
Alcohol❌: sim rating ✅
Leave me alone!!! I know what I’m doing.
I agree, Kimi will be forever remembered as the last Ferrari champion in history
Great video keep it up you're doing amazing things also anyone agree with me that in raw speed Senna is the only one quicker then Kimi also guys in the chat who are your top 5 quickest drivers in raw speed?
I think it's the drivers with the killer instinct, Max has it, Michael Schumacher's era most if not all the drivers had it, Jenson Button and Vettel too. Fernando and Lewis, I feel the two of them never were that kind of a driver.
BWWWOOOAAHHH!!!
Reporter: Kimi what happened 🎤
Kimi: *I Spun* 😐
Lance tries to be, but he s really just a TEMU version of him.
i like video title and video like this,i understand you need to increase number of views but just small advice,if possible don't use clickbait title
uhhhh its really just a hobby for me
Mwoah...
Until another fin joins the ranks.
why does this video on repeat in this channel 😂
Like i swear weve seen it before lmaoooo
Waiting for the “There will never be another driver like Daniel Ricciardo” drop next time he scores points ❤
Bwoah
Get me on the grid and ill fill that place.
No
You'd have to be funny without trying which you're already failing at.
Yooooo
A little bit of pushing and Oscar can definitely embody that Kimi energy™ bcs that man's interviews are something else
George Russell is the opposite of Kimi. Change my mind.
It's a Finnish F1 driver thing. Lol!!!! Mika Hakkinen is the same way.
wsg
After Schumacher left and juan Pablo kimi was the most fun by far!
F1 is just boring all around now.
esp the driving
Id love to have seen kimi race indy cars on ovals
Could he come do a indy stint?
slow day eh?
No substance in this vid
F1 now is boring lack of driver with character
Sometimes, I absolutely agree with this fact.
Absolutely!
Bwoah
