Everyone Interpits things differently. I think all can films bring their own unique twists and these guys did their own unique thing so I applaud them for that. This kinds reminded of the animated series.

this was so amazing! The girl who played Harley was awesome, she nailed it !! And I loved the joker too! I felt sorry for Harley at the end and I want to see a sequel where joker rescues Harley again. Awesome job Harley!!!!!!

I have to say that I loved this! I don't even know where to begin with all the thoughts I have about it. It was really good, especially considering it's a fan-made film. I'm going to try to make this more like a critique rather than just me fangirling, so maybe my nonsense might actually be useful. I'm really looking forward to seeing how much this group will improve in the future.
First of all, the characterization was absolutely spot on. Out of all the Harley Quinn short films I've watched, this one had characterization closest the characterization in Batman Animated Series. Others seemed to take more inspiration from the Arkham games or other interpretations There's nothing wrong with that, but the writing in this definitely gave off an Animated Series vibe.
I loved how the characters could have a sense of humor to them. Really dark batman stories are great, but I think it's a shame when the Joker loses his sense of humor. (I think The Killing Joke does a really great job of balancing the two. It's one of the darkest batman stories out there, but the Joker is still allowed to actually crack jokes.) I loved the "it goes with the hair." line. Very Joker-ish, and it made me laugh. The Joker in this film had a sarcastic (almost sassy) nature to him that I loved. ("It's like they're spelling out words. You see what that one says? It says drive faster!") The Joker didn't say it, but I loved the "why would I smell it?" joke too. Basically, the whole thing was allowed to be funny and I appreciated that. It always bugs me when things try too hard to be funny, but the humor in this felt organic and natural, too, so bonus points for accomplishing that!
I did notice that some of the lines were taken directly from Mad Love. I liked the originality that the writers showed when they went beyond that script. There's nothing wrong with throwing in a reference for the viewers to find, but I also loved with the writers could show off their creativity.
The cinematography was really good! It showed really good knowledge of composition. I especially thought it was creative when you couldn't see the Joker's face until he sat up during the scenes in his cell. However, throughout the dark scenes I felt like there were certain things that were supposed to visible, but it was very difficult because of the dark lighting. Some things were just too dark to see, even when I think we were supposed to see them. (Marvel's Daredevil does a really good job with dark lighting, I would look at that for inspiration because I feel like this film was going for something along the same lines.)
I liked the acting! I'll be honest, I thought the person who played the joker was attractive, and when the British twang in his voice was more subtle, he basically sounded just like Mark Hamil's Joker, which is my favorite interpretation. of the character. The same with Harley, when the pitchiness in her voice was toned down, she sounded a lot like a cross between Arleen Sorkin's and Tara Strong's takes. I loved her costume too!
This turned out longer than I had planned it to be, but I liked this film a lot and i had a lot to say. I'm absolutely, obviously NOT the ultimate authority on batman or filmmaking, so I hope I didn't come across too critical or negative. This is my favorite Harley Quinn short film on youtube and I genuinely love this! Keep doing filmmaking!

this is amazing, an hour long short film is hard to accomplish. it does seem armature at times but bravo i loved it. how long did this take to create? how big was the budget? ...i have nothing but respect for this and hope you keep going.

It was a School project pretty much they where high schoolers and made it in a month or so with very little post work and like 600 dollars for budget or was it barely 1k, whatever it was for fun. So get your balls out of your twisted panties and grow up dude.

This was great! I loved it! I just recently watched the cartoon version of Batman for the very first time and I recognize pieces of the story line, but it was so much better in this version with the actors. Everyone did a brilliant job, even the background music was 100% on point

The way Joker was all over the hostage & then the hostage was talking to Batman? I was waiting for the cheesy music to start & "the pizza man" (or plumber, whatever) to walk in & take off his shirt. During scene in the parking lot I was yelling at the screen "for Christ's Sake just BLOW HIM ALREADY!" I really wish he had... that would be hot but Robin would put his kevlar-covered butt in a sling!
