    A nice reaction :)
    A bit of background:
It's the first single from Saltatio Mortis' upcoming concept album Finsterwacht ("dark watch"), an hommage to German tabletop RPG Das Schwarze Auge (DSA)/The Dark Eye (TDE) for it's 40 years aniversary. The box contains the CD, a novel (one of the authors - Bernhard Hennen - is the one, who dies on the field after handing out the map), a tabletop adventure book (choose your own adventure style) and dice. Saltatio Mortis is a German medieval rock band, but they also mix in different music styles. The second single (Schwarzer Strand/"black beach") and the third single (Feuer und Erz/Fire Ore) are already out, and there are 2 more to come before release of the box on May 31th. There are also (German) making of videos for all the three music videos.
Finsterwacht are a line of towers/beacons in the mountains of Finsterkamm, as last line of defense between the lands of humans and orcs (those are the creatures in the video) at Heldentrutz, a part of Weiden in the Middenrealm at the continent of Aventuria. Their function is to warn the people as seen in the video. Saltatio Mortis (latin for "dance of the death") is the group trying to reach this goal in the video.
The video took 4 days of shooting, with a lot of LARPers - which is why they have such good costumes. The choir at the beginning and end is from Prague orchestra. Hansi from Blind Guardian sings at the chorus, sometimes alone, sometimes with Saltatio Mortis' lead singer Alea (the blonde, bearded guy).

It is Blind guardian, the band. The guitar parts are pretty much Blind Guardian, not so much Saltatio Mortis, even though, they too, have a guitar in their ranks. :)
"Das Schwarze Auge" (the dark eye) was more or less a German D&D rip-off, and it's got its 40th anniversary this year. Several of Saltatio Mortis band members have been playing the game since the very beginning (when they were kids), and some still do, so they had the idea of a collaboration for the anniversary. Which the publisher gladly agreed with. (As the band also has roots in connections to the cosplay and re-enactment scene, they happened to know one of the heads of TDE's publisher from that time, which certainly helped to bring the porject on the way).
There is going to be an RPG campaign that more or less deals with the attack of the orcs at the realms of mankind, a book, some other gimmick stuff and of course the album. Several songs in this are collabs with other German Bands from the medieval music scene and/or from metal (SaMo themselves play a mixture or medieval folk stuff and metal, but less power-metal-like), and they also included a whole orchestra for some songs for the first time in their career.
Not all of the songs on the album will be power metal, though, they are sort of versatile. "Schwarzer Strand" (Black Beach) is more melancholic and sad, "Feuer und Erz" (Fire and Ore) is about Dwarves, so it is rather dwarvish in its epicness, and "Der Himmel muss warten" (Heaven will have to wait) is a gritty campfire song. I actually can't wait to listen to the rest (but am afraid that there will be less power metal than you migth hope for.)
Hansi Kürsch sings a lot in this song - there is an interesting video on yt where you can see (and listen to) him recording his part. :)
The part where the last few warriors are singing together is actually a prayer to the goddess of honourable fight to grant them strength in their (presumably) last battle and help them succeed in their task. I think it works very well.
What I like about this song is that on the one hand, the video works incredibly well with the song. But on the other hand, the song works perfectly on its own, too.
SaMo have a knack for Fantasy themed videos. They do one every year or so.
If you liked the cinematic experience (as well as the music), check out:
"My mother told me" (Assassins creed - Valhalla inspired) - definitely a very metal-y version of the song.
    "The Dragonborn comes" (from Skyrim)
"Pray to the hunter" (Elder scrolls online)
"God of War" (with Peyton Parish).
Even though this one is by far their longest and most cinematic video so far, the others are very good, too. :) (And they happen to be all in English, save My mother told me, which is I think part in Icelandic or ancient Norse.)
Loved your reaction. Thanks for sharing your enthusiasm. :)
