I think even if I didn't create or attempt art I would still come and watch your video's. You are so funny and uplifting. @@FroyleArt That would be wonderful. I wait for Sunday it's the best day for inspiration and it's from you. My creating, sadly, has came to a stand still. Life decided to sideline me and not in a good way. Two days before this video I was suppose to have knee replacement surgery. While doing test for that surgery they discovered a 90% blockage in the artery to my heart and a second one that is 75% blocked. So knee surgery has to be cancelled and the open heart surgery is on the 21st. Sometimes like just gets in the way. Between the surgery and 20+ days in rehab it will be the end of August before I get home but on the bright side I packed a traveling bag of goodies and supplies to pay with. Of course, every Sunday I will be here watching you. Have a great summer and I can't wait too see where you take us next.

I'm so glad that you too my idea of tar and string gel and ran with it. I'm not MIA. I finally had my two level spinal fusions in April. (L&T) After waiting two years because of Covid. I am able to sit and stand again. Working in walking and stamina. Not quite into the art studio yet, but soon. I love your enthusiasm!

I'm lovin' the spoke papers. I'll spray a dark ink from lower right and gold from upper right, keeping bottle at a low angle to create light and shadow , making it look more 3D. SUPER!

Yes, I see now that if you coat the tissue with the matte medium first, then the additional texture paste pattern on top will probably not wrinkle as much. I will have to see if wrinkles bother me in the end product! Thank you! I think that I answered my own question!!

I adore these rosettes, as I call them, and I hope to spend today making them. My question is that this video is 8 months old and I just don’t remember you using the handmade ones in your more current collages. Yes I see circles but not the precious handmade rosettes. Do you still use them? I think that I would! Yesterday I packed up my gelli printing gear and said “I’ve had enough of this because it’s just not working out but then I saw this video and the one before it and decided to give this a go. Maybe these will perk up my prints? There’s always, up to a point, hope!!

I was wondering if you have ever done collages on large canvases. Mine is 24" x 36" and am sure I shouldn't apply small pieces or should I? Thanx for any info you can give!

What about using a stiff gesso instead of moldling paste in the pastry bag? It is a bit cheaper, I would think.
I love the idea of making your own elements to use. I love to alter book pages and use those as collage elements. I love the print showing through what ever I've done with it.

Great ideas, TFS! The Izink sprays are permanent but I wonder how the water based Dylusions and Distress sprays will react when used in collage...
They do bleed a little if you attack them with matte medium! 😂
