Joe Deane was the biggest dive taker in hurling history. I remember a game in the Gaelic Grounds in 1998 where he'd fall over with nobody near him and get a frees for it. The referee blew that game up minutes early too to prevent a late Limerick attack on goal that looked dangerous. It was all over the radio what a disgrace the refereeing was but then it was forgotten about. Having said that, this was a great Cork team.
