So I’m in a 2 and 2 gang out here in Australia. We went through about 15 labourers in 3 months: then we got this fella who is here from Chile… he is a brilliant labourer.. literally does everything including joining up. Then a month ago his Chilean mate started as a labourer.. he’s also quality. They both work hard. The original labourer now even spreads the bed for us. The only thing me and the bricky do is lay bricks and set up profiles. Literally nothing else
Most common reason I see laborers getting sacked is for being unreliable they start off taking 1 day out a week and they get away with it but then they start calling out twice a week and at that point it's disrespectful to the guys that show up everyday and they gotta go
@@johnbowkett80 whats the benefit of tidy ? does it make you lay faster? if they're not payingfor the compo and can lay faster being rough, then your advice will not be of any benefit.... and you can look it further, this site has conditions that differ to other sites... so maybe if this site was more tidy, providing a better work area, ie these foundations have kept the soil in, instead of scrapping them flat... its all relative to how people work on site, for the record, i think being neat is the way to go, but most bricklayer dont give a fk and cant blame them when this is what they have ti endure.
It’s actually an insulation off cut that the compo is in and there is nothing wrong with being a labourer that how the houses get built ….. I hope this helps 👌👌👌👌
@@Razthebricky I do apologise looking again I see I was incorrect but I was only saying it as your mix looks dry so I assumed you had used block my bad
