Check out his recent videos on blood oxygen saturation. Everyone should have an spO2 monitor, $20-$30. When the lungs have difficulty, oxygen levels in the blood go down. People with COPD or other lung conditions should buy an oxygen concentrator of they have the means. The five vital stats for measuring health are: pulse rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure, temperature, and O2 saturation. You should be able to measure all five. As far as home care steps, I'd like to see him do a video on that as well. One thing that everyone seems to be forgetting is eye protection. I'm not sure a mask does too much on it's own, if you're caring for someone I would think you would *have* to protect your eyes.

We are not preparing or even talking about this. I had a suspicion of a case last week and my suggestion of a possible COVID-19 case was met with disbelief by an ID specialist. The level of apathy and false sense of security is appalling. No one is wearing any masks or PPE on the ground. I fear for my patients, my colleagues, my own family. I think we will see more people staying closer to home. The trouble with that is it will hurt every country’s economy and possible small businesses will not be able to recover. Also areas if food shortages will suffer down the line. No easy answer to this. In Canada we have a rail blockage protest going on. While the native peoples have a point to make and it is a good one, small business relying on rail are getting into serious trouble. And brought 14 confirmed sick persons to the contiguous US anyway🤨 But it probably wouldn’t have made a huge difference given that (reliable) officials are now saying people can have it and be asympotomatic for 24+ days, OR have it and spread it without ever knowing they had it all.

There is so much being taught to hasten that, to where like me ya gotta be a smarty-pants just to stay sane.
My comments are benign and only posed to serve as another option as the suggestions to fear keep mounting up from those who are given a "name to trust" outside your walls.
But they only have greed in mind.
Families, friends, kids are all broken hearted because as a family unit- we are taught to gain from elders, obey rules and practice good.
But when suddenly that entire fabric is torn when finding the elders of rule makers are being greedy, lying, and practicing death and killing with no remorse, rule, or consequence to be faced, it's like whaaaaaa?
So please I am actually going to beg you, please don't be like those running outside for an answer. Stay where you are and harbor, nurture, and care with and in Love. God will watch over your home and heart as he did in the days of the burning bush. K?
As of today, I will carry you in my heart and surely will ask that you remain under the scarlet thread.

Thank you Dr. for this invaluable work you do. About Italy I would say (I am Italian) actually health authorities failed to recognize cases immediately. The first patient who died had been in the hospital for 10 days with pneumonia before they decided to test him for coronavirus (too late). The first patient who was tested positive had gone to the ER on a Sunday and been sent back with antibiotics. Had a doctor visit on a Monday (the doctors is now positive). Then went back to the ER, was admitted and only then they decided to do the test, because his wife said he had been in touch with a friend who just came back from China, so they had their lightbulb moment. Well the friend is negative so it was not even him Who carried the virus..lucky coincidence that made the authorities wonder and now the alert level is high luckily, but I feel medical practitioners were definitely not ready for this.
