It's really sad for the families of those students i sympathise with them. But hundreds of people's against five people's that's also difficult. That's why rule of law is always a key in a country. May God bless the Gambia.

So the issue is that why is it that most atrocities are committed by security personnels. We should be questioning those who recruit them and those who train them. The way we recruit is so bad. And this is a phenomenal problem all over the world.

Following from Kenya. Somehow I can understand why he heartlessly opened fire at the students. He never got that chance because his dad had no means.

Note to Gambian students. Regardless of the reasons or truth of these events. Don't throw stones at soldiers with AK-47. Nothing good can come from that.

What a moronic statement to make!!! You obviously don’t have no knowledge of “military tactics “ You only allowed to take blank bullets to disperse demonstrators even if they had stones, not Live rounds. These soldiers are cowards and were not trained on any form of crowd control, hence they should not have been there in the first place. He wasn’t threatened and non of those stones which were thrown touched him
Much more injured Him, yet still this coward had the audacity to fire his live rounds to unarmed Students!! He is uneducated and have no clue about Military tactics. He is just a remorseless killer !!! Period!! Stop making excuses for people like him, he is not fit to wear the uniform!!
