Meet Meme Pema Wangchuk, 55, from Chaskhar Mongar.
Most of his active life Meme served in the military as an army and now he makes a living by driving load trucks.
Currently he is located at some Indian plains of Nagaland driving a load truck for someone. He says he has few more months to before he can return home to Bhutan. He recorded this song in his truck cabin for the listening pleasure of his family whom he misses dearly every moment. The song has somehow found its way into social media and has touched the hearts of whoever listened to it with its purity, simplicity and profound meaning in every word.
According to his son, Meme is a very jovial and affable person and can easily befriend anyone from a child to an adult. But most of all, he has always loved singing.
