One episode left...and I can't help but feel we need yet another flash back to help resolve the remaining plot holes in this story....and there wouldn't even be time enough to resolve any and all of the additional loose ends still remaining. It still makes no sense why Torbin(sp) will kill himself or decide to not speak for 10 years...and why would he be advanced to a Knight and then a Master if he is clearly mentally not well since he's been a padawan. Why the wookie went into exile makes no sense either. He would have the least amount of attachment to the witches so why would he feel bad? Also, why would Sol stab the Queen Witch and then act like a pacifist immediately afterwards...all of that after he advocated to go in there heavy. Also..."the power of many" was weak sauce...they all got booted out of someone's mind and dropped dead as a result, what the tar?
1) Maybe Torbin knew he fuked up? We sah his actions. He aplogized to Indara, maybe he realised. Than it was 16 years. Why he could not change hm? 2) Wookie? and why not. He failed in sense of let them control him, he almost masacred his companions. 3) So which transforming next to you into Dark demonic cloud and you would stay calm. He felt right after guilt becasue he fked up. 4ú Witches only passed out from severed connection. They died afterwards to fire and explosion. There is your tar We see in every SW movie that Jedi are not perfect. If they were, Anaking never felt to Dark side. But if we dont count Palpatin manipulation, Jedies itself broke the premise of Jedi virtues to Anakin. They fked them self

Plus he attacked his fellow Jedi, permanently scaring Torbin. Meaning he mostly used his claws. Wookies NEVER use their claws in battle and doing so is disgraceful and means they're exiled from their tribe. So he failed as a Jedi and as a Wookie. • From what Sol saw, Mae appears in distress and the witch turns into smoke. Looking back to Mae, she's also turning into smoke. He makes a split second decision because he had no clue what was happening to Mae but knew the witch was causing it. He immediately regretted what he did and chose not to attack but defend. It is shown that Sol acts more emotional compared to the other Jedi. • I think the witches were passed out became of the stress. Notice how the head witch ONLY invades Torbin's mind because she is a Padawan. She only knows that because Indara said he was her Padawan. It took all of them to control Kelnacca, a Jedi Master and a Wookie. That would not be easy to do. Wookies themselves are hard to control but a force sensitive Wookie is extremely difficult.
This series has 3 different stories happening at the same time and the only story that is somewhat interesting is Qimir’s story. I’m not sure if the writers even knew what they were doing.

They clearly said that they have been stationed on that planet for 7 weeks trying to find the source of a "vergence". No lore was rewritten or changed. Here's what you're missing: You assume to know what a "vergence" is, despite Phantom Menace never actually providing further context outside of Qui Gon "feeling a vergence" in the force. So take note: vergence does not = "omg it's the chosen one." Not even close. A vergence is a sudden burst of immense force energy, seemingly created out of nowhere. Example: In Phantom Menance, Qui Gon wasn't expecting to feel a vergence in a seemingly force-void planet like Tattooine. He was able to narrow it down to Anakin. In The Acolyte, the vergence, and what they're investigating is the planet Brandok, WHICH PREVIOUSLY HAD BEEN VOID OF LIFE AFTER A HYPERSPACE DISASTER. A full planet, totally destroyed, suddenly burst to life, bountiful and flourishing. The planet is the vergence. And it is likely that the power that brought the planet back to life is what created the twins. I'm not even a huge fan of this show, but my god, you're being so critical to the point that you're pulling out crap that isn't even there and missing things and then blaming the show for your lack of understanding, which is directly related to you spending your time watching the show talking the whole time and being snarky. Don't watch stuff if you don't enjoy it, it's not fun watching you crap on stuff, and make bad guesses about what the show is doing instead of giving any actual critical feedback.

Dune Two has only half the runtime of The Acolyte. You have to combine the two Dune films to come up with a comparable total runtime for an 8-episode TV series.

The episode was pretty bad, but when I got to the credits and heard that modern pop song, that's when I was done with this show. That's not Star Wars at all.

The lack of understanding and sympathy from the women in creative control with Torbin's mind assault is striking. The other piece inside the episode is Sols almost Harvey Weinstein-like obsession with young girls. What a completely out of touch creative staff who's leader literally led women to the slaughter.
I still despise how the lightsabers look in Disney Star Wars. Like a bunch of light up glow sticks. Nothing will beat the lightsaber look from the Prequels.
The lightsabers themselves are the smallest problem I have with Disney Star Wars lol.... My problems started with Luke throwing his father's saber away like a piece of random trash.
I love how you eat a bowl of something most of these episodes. Anyways, I tried, heck I wanted to like the Acolyte...the heart just isn't there. The acting is off by a lot for more than a few (Mae/Osha, Whip Lady, Witch leaders). There are scenes that I'm genuinely embarrassed for the actors. I'm not one who takes pleasure in anything Star Wars when it fails. I don't want to join the hate bandwagon at all. I have enjoyed most of the shows to some extent including the recent Ahsoka. This show is just...so bad minus Master Sol, the poor padawan who died, and Qimir. Episode 3 was the worst I think I've ever seen in Star Wars. There is no way there can be any redemption in just one remaining episode. Honestly a little down as I'm a fool who keeps hoping for another Star Wars show to escape and immerse myself in.

The episode was pretty bad, but when I got to the credits and heard that modern pop song, that's when I was done with this show. That's not Star Wars at all.

This show is flawed and full of holes... But I had a lot of fun watching it. 🤷🏽♂️. Seeing PPL getting all bent out of shape over this thing is pretty funny too.

The lack of understanding and sympathy from the women in creative control with Torbin's mind assault is striking. The other piece inside the episode is Sols almost Harvey Weinstein-like obsession with young girls. What a completely out of touch creative staff who's leader literally led women to the slaughter.
Don't cave into the trolls telling you being too negtive. This show is a pile of turd. We need more people calling it for what it is.

I still despise how the lightsabers look in Disney Star Wars. Like a bunch of light up glow sticks. Nothing will beat the lightsaber look from the Prequels.
The lightsabers themselves are the smallest problem I have with Disney Star Wars lol.... My problems started with Luke throwing his father's saber away like a piece of random trash.
I love how you eat a bowl of something most of these episodes.
Anyways, I tried, heck I wanted to like the Acolyte...the heart just isn't there. The acting is off by a lot for more than a few (Mae/Osha, Whip Lady, Witch leaders). There are scenes that I'm genuinely embarrassed for the actors.
I'm not one who takes pleasure in anything Star Wars when it fails. I don't want to join the hate bandwagon at all. I have enjoyed most of the shows to some extent including the recent Ahsoka. This show is just...so bad minus Master Sol, the poor padawan who died, and Qimir. Episode 3 was the worst I think I've ever seen in Star Wars. There is no way there can be any redemption in just one remaining episode.
Honestly a little down as I'm a fool who keeps hoping for another Star Wars show to escape and immerse myself in.
