- So here in this video we will showcase the 10 most powerful astartes warriors, the strongest named space marines, individual fighters not chapters. We will be including the loyalists and the ones that haven’t been mutated or corrupted by Chaos, since that will be in another video. This won’t be a ranking video, and it won’t be in any particular order, just ten of the best ever space marines. And if you must, you can list your top 10 down in the comments below.

Dante got that Emperor level Plot armor. He’s got 3 primarchs refusing to let him die. Wouldn’t be surprised that when he actually dies, the emperor just says “no” and brings him back as a Sanguinor type saint
Kor'sarro Khan deserves a honourable mention. The man is the head head hunter for the White Scars.

I love that first image of Logan Grimnar you showed. The artist is seriously brilliant. The contrast between the "hot and cold" halves of the image showing his cold steely aspect in contact and in contrast with the fiery demonic axe. The housing cables snaking between his powerpack "connecting" him to the demonic essence of the weapon in more ways than one.
That is such a powerful image and I'm not much of a Space Wolves fan.
Great list, another honorable mention is Helbricht. On top of his genius level tactical intellect he has many impressive combat feats.
Was expecting captain Titus , sharrowkyn or Nathaniel garrow but the list sounds pretty solid
While Garrow was a very IMPORTANT character, he wasn't overly powerful. He was pretty much known as a regular line officer.

Sevatar is the greatest duelist of all time. Him & sigismund had a 32 day duel which ended when sevatar got bored & head butted sigismund
@@nolancavanaugh406 the night lords have really grown on me since I’ve been reading more lore on them. My issue honestly with the night lords is only skin deep , their aesthetic really really looks cheesy to me lol!!! Bay Winged helmets with fangs and a lighting motif ? What were these guys smoking but then again they couldn’t make everyone Blue Or Red :) I won’t say SevTar is the best duelist but he is top 5 for sure. I think that guy from the emperors children has that spot I think he beat them all , all the top guys from the heresy. His name escapes me atm but you know who I am referring too im sure. Lucius that’s it either him or Sigismund are top dog , but sevatar can see the future… then there’s also Kharn. So many good duelists hard to pick a winner.

It`s was an exageration in his lore, as for Raldoron or Kharn. Sigismund and Sevataar where the only Tier S. The others where tier 1. In Sigismunds lore says that he was the BEST, that´s it, and Sevataar was the only one able to beat him (in a dishonourable way).@@bombkita

Good list, I have Grimaldi‘s on there however. You should do a 30 K a list. Guys like Garro, Corswain, tal, Lokken, etc.
The fact that Sharrowkyn isnt on this list makes my head shake. He ranks right up there with Sigismund, and could very likely beat anyone on this list save maybe Mephiston because that guy can stop time.
Although the Raven Guard are often overlooked so I guess it makes sense.

You said “Maybe Mephiston” as if it would be close but everybody knows Dante, Khaldor Draigo, Tyberos the Red Wake, Asterion Moloc, Sigismund and DEFINITELY Mephiston AND Tigurius would shit on Sharrowkyn easily ESPECIALLY if it’s a head on battle no sneak attacks.
Sharrow couldn’t even sneak up on Mephiston let alone beat him Lmaoo
And let’s not talk about his Primaris Upgrade LOL. Mephiston PRE Primaris and POST still shits on Sharrow
I find Asterean Moloch to be an exception because the Minotaurs Chapter may have leanings toward the Thunder Warriors. If you need a stand out character, Crimson Fists Captain Cortez! Also, Imperial Fists Captain Lysander! (Lysander almost became Chapter Master twice of the Imperial Fists!)
Just a quick nitpick- Dante is the oldest living loyalist Space Marine who isn’t in a Dreadnought. Bjorn The Fell-Handed is older, as he was part of Leman Russ’s retinue during the Horus Heresy- Dante was born sometime later.
Hate to nitpick your nitpick; but even the Dreadnaughts consider themselves to have "died" before being interned into the honor.

@@Lost7one Yeah, Bjorn the Fel-Handed fought with Leman, and in fact if you have read the book 'Prospero Burns' you come to find out Bjorn is the Space Wolf the MC was calling "Bear" thru 95% of the book.
Although, it could be a *Different* Bjorn considering there was around 80k Space Wolves give or take at the time.

currently, memphiston is undoubtedly the strongest thing in real space for simply his time stopping ability, he do it soo casually so we dont know his full power yet

cant auto parry when time is frozen and Mephiston can and does mind read his opponents in battle, thereby knowing their planned actions cancelling foresight@@PrinzAquatic

Totally agree with you. Different eras, different challenges, different ways that they were waging war. Great point.
100%. The Heresy and 40K sometimes seem like they’re not even related, they’re so different. It may have been 40K that originally interested me back in the late 80s, but 30K is infinitely more interesting to me, and is my main focus.

Not listing Nathaniel Garro on this list is crazy. You ask me, I believe he beats out Azrael at least in regards to pure skill. And in terms of pure fighting prowess and leadership, I do believe that Dante deserves to be ranked higher on the list. Just my opinion.
Good list but definitely there are more great Astartes.But i agree with this selection.For me it's Tyberos.The way he talk. and amount of bloodshed...EPIC.

New names for the I Legion, the XVI Legion and the XII Legion: Rock Angels (symbols of the Knights' Rock, the Knights' Winged Sword, Caliban's Earth Angel and Caliban's Lion-Wolf), (old) Luna Bulls and (old) War Wolves (symbol similar to the Space Wolves, but red and without fur).

Using the Angels of Absolution as an example, isn't it cooler to give the Dark Angels (personal rename: the Rock Angels) the bone color and the Death Guard the green color?
I think you shouldn't include Librarians as they are OP.
For example you include Azrael while Ezekiel stated that he could kill Azrael with ease.

And im sure Tigurius could defeat Calgar without to much drama. And Mephiston could probably beat almost every Astartes there is.
Azrael gets so much hate for no reason lol. The guy held his own and could have even killed Kharn in a duel. Thing people always forget with Azrael is that he is a MASTER STRATEGIST. Think Guilliman. He is obviously not the strongest 1 on 1, but using Abaddon the way you did is just plain stupid. Abaddon would EASILY kill most chapter masters out there obviously. He is juiced on chaos power lmao. Your point is "why include this guy when the STRONGEST chaos lord and CHAMPION of CHAOS says he can kill him easily?" Not to mention him saying he could DOESN'T mean he could lol. It's like saying "why include Kharn when Kaldor Draigo says he can kill him easily" It's dumb as fuck lmao.

Tbh Though I get the Minotaurs are widely unpopular, I don’t really think it’s debatable that Moloch IS the most powerful Astartes, considering a NAMED high ranking Custodes(a group known for their confidence and superiority complex) out right said that he believed the only two people who could hope to beat Moloch were Gulliman himself, and Valoris, the leader of the Custodes. With him still not being 100% positive about the latter’s chances.

Little corre tion: Tiberius the red wake did not wear terminator armor. He wears modified dreadnought armor cause of his size!!! Small but important difference specially for his foes...

Logan Grimnar didn't kill just normal Grey Knights, he killed their chapter master so fast that he didn't even react to him, I believe Logan Grimnar can win in the 1v1 fight between him and Abaddon, main reason why Sigismund died he was duelists but space wolves training totally different they train to use their opponents weapon against them
The chapter master who's currently in the Warp fighting God Emperor knows what?

@@joesheridan9451 It's a little confusing but I think the distinction is that Mephiston is the only one to fully beat the Black Rage as in it no longer affects him and he doesn't feel it but there are other Blood Angels who are currently afflicted by it and still capable of functioning like Lemartes.
@@consolescrub4031 Honestly it's quite simple. Mephiston is the only one to overcome it, Lemartes is the only one to be lucid enough that they can continue to use him but they still have to seal him away between battles... They are the only 2 exceptions to the rule.
@@joesheridan9451I think there's another guy, Rafen or something like that who got around it with shenanigans involving the Spear of Telesto and killing Sanguinius reborn but Mephiston is definitely the most famous one and the inspiration for the blood angels.

Sevetar was a non corrupted and wemt toe to toe with sigismund.
In shadow of throne part 2, captain Valoris, champion of the custodes states the only 2 people who could possibly beat Asterion Moloc are Gulliman, now also the lion obviously and Valoris the captain General of Custodes.
Apart from that he knows no one that could beat him.
Quite a statement and coming from a champion custodian.
We never got Valoris's point of view of Moloc, we got Valerian. Valerian stated that Moloc gave off the strongest stench of violence, not that he was the strongest, Trajann Valoris would floor Moloc.
In the final chapter Valerian states it very clearly. And bot disputing valoris would win, however even Valerian stated that he would in all probability but not a certainty. Meaning evenbif valoris be the likely winner it wouldn't be easy or even a definitive

Azrael almost died to Arkos, I don't think he is too skilled
He's pretty good given he had a decent shot against Kharn the Betrayer (he didn't take it as he wasn't entirely confident in surviving it and thought his survival was of greater benefit than Kharn's death. Considering how Khorne cheats to bring him back, I think he made the right choice). Besides Arkos was no slouch either, his title was the Scion of Alpharius and he served as their equerry during the Horus Heresy. He was powerful enough to lead a despoiler class battleship (a certain adorable primarch was lost trying to storm one of those) and had a daemonic weapon. I think he was also getting some pretty massive chaos boosts in the battle while Azrael was fighting one-handed due to trying to hold up his standard at the same time (whether this was a good idea can be debated but you have to admit he was fighting with a massive handicap). When they finally got Arkos he managed to kill a master of a second founding Dark angels successor in a duel before he got one-shot by an interrogator chaplain.
