I remember him from when I was a kid up in my eyeballs with comic books from my library and his cover artwork always caught my eyes. What master artist! đ€©
What an interesting and unique spin on this character. This must be my favorite humanoid face I've seen you draw--there's a very primal presence and air of mystery about it. Super badass.
As a kid I used to watch Bob Ross and William Alexander and many times about 20-30% into the paintings I would go âwhoops. You really screwed up the whole thing there.â And yet a few minutes later it would all start coming together and I would have to admit I was completely wrong. When the âsmudgingâ started I was taken back to my childhood and I went âJim! What the hell are you doing?! You screwed it all up!!â Aaaand of course I should never doubt Mister Lee. Fantastic version of Raven appeared out of what I thought was a completely screwed up mess.
when you smudged for shading as a kid at art class, you get an F. No wonder i hated art as a kid.. self-expression was prohibited.
Its just amazing at the speed he draws with.
The way he quickly and flawlessly draws the body is amazing!! I just wing it and hope for the best lol

I know this is going to sound âcringeâ but, his hand moves on its own like a certain technique in DBS. But I also know this is years of practice for Mr. Lee, but damn are his drawings amazing!

srivatsa damaraju Micron pens. He usually use 0.5. The smudgy thing is just paper towel/tissue, Kleenex if you're interested in the brand.
