- 👁 Ms. Maria Plume is one of the many Russian students who has shown interest and fascination for the Filipino language and culture. She studied the Filipino language at the Moscow State University (MSU) for four years, and she considers these years as the most challenging yet the most enjoyable years of her life.
At the beginning, Ms. Plume admitted that she knows nothing about the Philippines. But when she chose Filipino studies as her course and specialization in 2015, she said that this gave her a different perspective of the world through the view of the Filipino people.
Following her graduation this year, she flew to the Philippines to work as a translator. After returning to her home country a few months later, she desires to go back to the Philippines to experience more of the Filipinos’ way of life.

Kapag nabasa nya comment mo baka malito sya kung anu ba tlga tinutukoy mong wika, Pilipino, Filipino o Tagalog.
wikang pilipino
tagalog with russian accent, i didn't think i would wanna hear it, she's adorable
Yes, she speaks Pilipino ( not Tagalog ) with a definite Russian accent ( but of course! ) But it's fluent, her grammar is correct, and her pronounciation is understandable. I didn't have any difficulty understanding her.
In fact, she speaks better Pilipino than most Filipinos speak English.

The grammar and the accent! Wow!

I'm curious to hear Filipino being spoken with a Japanese accent from a Japanese person.
I admire this lady due to her fluent diction of Filipino language. More power to you & God bless..
Galing naman ng bbae marunung mgtagalog.
grabe ang sarap sa tenga pag naririnig mo ang isang banyaga na nag sasalita ng ating wika . at hindi ordinaryong tagalog kung hindi malalim na tagalog
She's a Russian but she speaks the language so well. She's not only beautiful but intelligent, too.
Haha oo nga noh ....🤣🤣🤣
Pilipino di marunong mag Tagalog, yung mga Local government officials at mga pulis na ini interview sa national TV di maintindihan kaylangan pa translate
Just like russian speaks english. You didn't know russians' english language proficiency is the same to their tagalog proficiency?
Tayo dapat matuto ng Mandarin para di Tayo lokohin ng chekwa.🤣🤣
Nice grammar
It sounds kinda cute, when Russian accent in female voice is combined with Tagalog...
no its weird but then again it sounds like my polish girlfriend speaking Cebuano haha 🤣

Her Tagalog is the old way of speaking. The words she used are old Tagalog words and it’s amazing.I don’t even use those words.
Yeah every foreigner learning Filipino uses the old form of Tagalog while Filipino themselves speaks in Taglish nowadays
Bro its not old tagalog, its a formal way to speak tagalog. Karamihan ngayung mga pilipino hindi na gumagamit ng proper tagalog kaya nakakalimutan nila kung gaano kahalaga ang tamang pananalita ng sariling wika
malalim tagalog. niya ang hirap kaya non. gamoon siguro ang turo sa kanila. yung pure tagalog language. binabati kita miss russian girl
My grandma used this so much and it sounds decent
di un old, yun ung pormal
it's so cute that a foreigner is so good at speaking Tagalog, Thanks for appreciating our language, Maraming Salamat. We love you :)
You are very good in Tagalog beautiful Ang galing mo salamat po

naturally, she's a spy.
Don't stereotype.

pronunciation is good but of course her accent is still different.. overall she's good, since tagalog is hard to learn anyway

When her Tagalog accent is clearer than my future
From what I've noticed learning Russian myself as a Filipino, our vowels are very similar. Very heavy and straight-forward vowel sounds
Phonetic language sakanila like talaglog meaning ng phonetics kung ano ang vowel at consonant ganun din pronunciation
parang abakada din yung ibang PycckN alphabet
That’s awesome! I’ve never ever heard Tagalog spoken with a Russian accent before. It’s quite pleasant. I didn’t even think Russia and the Philippines had much relation with each other. Nice to see that changinf
Im proud of you Ms.russian you are very cool to speak tagalog patuloy mulang yan at ituro morin sa iba o kababayan mo
She pronounces the word "Tagalog" better than most Filipino-Americans. 😅
impressive indeed, este talagang kahangahanga
@Cream PiE I meant the actual word "Tagalog". That's just one word, and for one word, I think all it takes is practice.
oo nga
Hehe, generally, Westerners pronounce the word "Tagalog" with accent on the first syllable (TA-ga-log). Ngek. The proper pronunciation is to place the accent on the 2nd syllable (ta-GA-log). Hehe.

this makes me even more proud of my language and country! di katulad ng mga Pilipino dito, magppost lang sa facebook, english, mali mali naman😂😂😂😂 o di kaya ay kinakahiya nila na pilipino sila. mabuhay!!!
English is our universal language, it is used for us to communicate with other people. Si Jose Rizal nga gumamit ng spanish sa kanyang mga akda noon, ba't di niyo siya binanyagang "feel espanyol"? lmao the irony 💀
Aray! Huwag mo naman husgahan ng ganyan ang mga nag-iinglis. Malay mo, gusto nilang gamitin yung kaunting inglis na kanilang natutunan. Wika nga sa English, if you don't use it , you loss it. Some, like me who is lazy and don't write well, it is a matter of convenience. English have fewer letters an syllables compared to our language, mga salita natin ay mayroon maraming letra at kataga. Noon early 2000 kapag mag text ka ubos na ang load mo hindi mo pa nasabi lahat ng mensahe mo.......Minsan, mix language ang gamit lalo na kung maiintindihan ka naman ng kausap mo, so you can express better what you want to say... .
God bless you.
yes maria ang galing mo.mag tagalog. salamat sau,, kc pinakita at pinarinig mo ang pag salita ng tagalog. thanks again sau. ingat lagi. we love your talking tagalog.

Thank you for coming here in the philippine we are pilipino is very freindly. Thats for sure
I'm a Filipino-Canadian. I was born in the Philippines but grew up in Canada. Your Tagalog is way better than mine.
Just because your half filipino doesn't mean you should be very fluent in tagalog. There are many half half that never bothered to to learn tagalog but just the typical english. If you notice she speaks english as well so whos to say she might speak some other languages.
@@harsep You misinterpreted what I wrote. I’m a full-blooded Filipino. It’s a Canadian thing to identify your ethnic origin in Canada. I’m Canadian of Filipino origin if that makes it more clearer. If I was half Filipino,I would have identified myself as half Filipino. I was born in the Philippines, grew up there (in Makati English only) till age 7 but grew up in Canada. I rarely speak Tagalog but understand it when I hear it. And her Tagalog is pretty good.
@@Wilson-sy5ze it just means you have to be ashame of yourself
@@Wilson-sy5ze Oo nga dapat mahiya ka. Yung iba ngang half lang fluent at bihasa na magsalita sa wikang Filipino. Sorry ha.
You guys are disgusting. Hindi porket hindi siya straight magtagalog dapat nya nang ikahiya, tagalog man or english yung language mo it doesn't define you as a person. Enough with this crab mentality. Nakakasawa. Ehh ano ngayon kung mas sanay siya/or mas prefer nya yung english? Bukod tangi talaga ang pinoy na napaka mapang puna. Kaya walang asenso eh
Ms. Maria Plum, I'm proid of you that you speak so good of our language, Pilipino. Ang galing mo magsalita ng wikang Pilipino. Mas magaling ka pa sa ibang kong kababayan na lumaki sa ibang bansa na magsalita ng Tagalog. Ang galing mo talaga, madaling intindihin ang mga sinasabi mo sa video. @@stormcomilang869 - "That your President"? It seems your fluency in English makes this comment a bit ironic. ;-)

Way to Go Maria, Best Wishes and Good Luck on your Travel's.
The way this girl speaks in tagalog was so formal for me when you come here to the philippines you will hear a different words that never taught in your school
Mostly spoken English sila so they cannot spell what they are saying because of lack of schooling. But when you are typing in a small phone like me, at least some of the bad spelling are forgiveable. Blame it on big fingers.
salamat sa effort! proud ako sa hardwork mo to speak tagalog, sana ung iba rin

Salamat sa pagsusumikap na matuto ng wikang pilipino, God bless.
Wow, mas malalim pa ang tagalog mo kesa sa ibang Filipino. Galing! 😊👍
@no issues yeah, she's more fluent than any other filipinos, in a way that she speaks straight tagalog, pure tagalog in a sentence, where in common filipinos now a days mix some words in english. Like when she said unibersidad, most filipinos will just use school. She can be a tagalog teacher, to teach young modern filipinos to use native filipino language that are already fading.
@@jonp6434 hindi ako papayag na mas magaling pa mag tagalog ang banyaga sa akin,,hindi bale ng magaling silang mag ingles kaysa sa akin pero ang salitang pinanggalingan ko at ang wika ng bansa ko at dapat higit akong mas nakaka alam,,hindi ako utak tingyaw na mas hinahanggan o kinikilala pa ang salitang ingles kaysa sa salitang atin.

Wow! You are such an amazing woman I've ever heard to speak our language. Actually, learning new language is not easy,it requires a lot of hard work, and dedication. By the way, I've been learning english for 1 year in half it was not easy, and my parents used to teased me and got confused what is going on. They had no idea that I'm leaning english. I'm so grateful because despite all of my failure i still here dedicated to pursue my dream, and eventually it becomes more easier for me to comprehend if what is going on specially every time i watch some movies. Prayer and discipline are really effective in terms of learning new skill.
