@QuartzCowboy I'll be there June 19/20. Thinking about digging to the right of the parking lot as advised by a friend, I'll probably poke around a bit. Staying in Polaris. Was thinking about hitting up the creek around there and the mountain behind it maybe as well. Hoping to find some chunkers

@@barid302 People have been digging here since the 50s. There are a lot of holes for sure. It takes some work to find the crystals.
Did you guys see any brown bear activity?? We're going in a few weeks. Slightly nervous. I haven't been there in 35 years. We're from the west coast only black bears out here.
Not any bears, we did have a night with a pack of wolves very close to our camp, near Elkhorn Hot springs.
We're going there next weekend what is a good spot for us to go to?
